Lví Dvůr — Restaurant in Prague

Good afternoon. I‘ve recently visitted the restaurant Lvi Dvur and got shocked at how unprofessional they‘re handling their restaurant. First of all the ambiente looks very dirty. Cracks everywhere and a not very appetizing picture drawn on top of the wall. Second of all we waited around 45-60 minutes just for the appetizers and we already told them to get the check so we can leave and hit up another restaurant. We got straight up ignored. After 10 mins we got our Appetizers, the carpaccio and our traditional bohemian soup. Carpaccio was clearly frozen as we knew it doesn’t take almost an hour to bring it out and the „traditional“ soup was bland and had like no potatoes or any ingredients in it besides the watery bland soup. After tasting the appetizers we had enough and just told them straight up to bring us the bill. They still tried to delay us further telling us they told the kitchen staff and it takes only 10 minutes after waiting more than an hour but we had enough. They still had the audience to bring us the main dishes after we told them to bring us the bill twice. Leaving with a very disappointing experience and wasted an entire hour of our trip to Prag. Would‘nt recommend this restaurant to anybody and if you got no options just dont waste your time there and try to look for something else. I booked a dinner for 9 people as I had visit from our owning company. We had table at top part with nice view. Service was below expectations and after 3 years, it was rare disappointment in Prague. Waiter was not attentive, without attention to details, eventhough we were the only table at restaurant. I had to refill wine glasses of my guests by myself, I had to look for service to clean plates, I had to manage ordering of desserts and coffee. The food was of good quality, we had mix of salads and appetizers, fish and meat, all was tasty. Only small note to fruit dumplings - instead of fruits there was some fruit purée, seemed like frozen product. My guests commented on service and I felt I booked the wrong place. Sorry,...

WE WERE DISGUSTED WITH THE ATTITUDE OF THE 'MANAGER' TOWARDS HIS STAFF IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS; HE SEEMED TO BE TALKING ABOUT THEIR UNIFORMS BUT HE WAS DRESSED IN JEANS AND SHIRT. HE WAS SHOUTING AT THEM IN THE CAFE, IN THE BACK ROOM WHERE WE WERE DINING AND POSSIBLY OUT ON THE STREET CORNER. THE DTAFF WERE LOVELY AND CARING AND THE FOOD DELICIOUS, BUT ONLY A 1 STAR RATING BECAUSE OF THIS 'MANAGER'.
