The worst service ever! The game starts from the enter. The waitress evaluates you and excuse that they are fully booked. However, there are many free desks around. Guest asks about obviously free tables. The waitress look precisely: are you going to order a food or just drink? Guest: of course, we are here to eat. Bingo: first pill is swallowed. The arrogance that is shaped in “importance” is sold! Bingo! We were 5 adults plus one teenager. The food was served just for 2 persons. One of the person was served by 2 dishes (start and main) at the same time. One of the dish was daily soup. Waitress informed that it is broccoli cream soup today, however it was served beans soup with sausage without any information and excuses. Plus soup was ordered by vegan person. One was the dish was roasted pork knee. The skin of pork was not crunchy and very hard. Obviously it was not fresh one. The rest of 4 people were starving while waiting for their goulash in bread. We were brave enough to disturb our very busy waitress about the food. He said that the bread is backing that is the reason of such delay. Everyone was serviced by drinks except the kid with his juice. We asked if juice is also “backing”. Waitress replied that he forgot about juice - 3rd pill of lie was swallowed. Bingo! Goulash in bread was served in 5 minutes. We were fully surprised that just backed bread was cold. The liquid inside was not looking like a goulash. It was just pieces of meet with few pieces of gross cut onions and covered by some type of ugly sauce 🤢 2 ladies from our group spent next night in bathroom with diarrhoea. We highly recommend don’t visit this restaurant in order to protect you family/friends and to...

I visited Restaurace U Mlynáře with a small group and had a wonderful time. We had a reservation and were seated at a spacious table that made us feel comfortable right away. The menu offered a nice selection of traditional Czech dishes, and I personally ordered a chicken schnitzel, which was perfectly prepared.
While the wait between courses was slightly longer due to fresh preparation, the quality of the food made it absolutely worth it — everything was delicious and satisfying, at a fair, mid-range price.
What truly made this visit special was the exceptional service. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and eager to make our experience enjoyable. They answered every question with a smile, made sure we were well taken care of, and went above and beyond to create a personal connection.
At the end of the meal, they surprised us with a handwritten postcard in both Czech and our language, personalized with names — a thoughtful and rare gesture that turned a great meal into an unforgettable memory.
5 stars for the heart and hospitality. The waiters truly made...
Read moreThe food was decent and well priced. However, from all my many times eating out at restaurants, I have never received such terrible service. The waitress with pink hair very rudely yelled at myself and my partner in front of the other customers for sitting at the ‘wrong table’ after we were told by another staff member to sit there. We place no blame on the male staff member who had accidentally told us to sit at the wrong table.
We also witnessed her yell at some other tourists who wanted to eat at the restaurant. She told them very rudely to ‘go away, we are closing’ and shooed them away with her hand. She clearly knew she was in the wrong and we weren’t happy as she tried to make up for her rude behavior by giving us free water and an espresso, but that doesn’t justify her terrible, unprofessional behavior. To make matters worse, the ‘wrong table’ we sat at, never ended up being filled by anyone.
The only reason this restaurant has good reviews is because they report low reviews as being not genuine. Avoid...
