Golden Key Hotel — Hotel in Prague

Very dirty, dusty rooms. I had to live a week to get my US visa and the hotel was pre-paid by my company. Otherwise I would leave. The hotel looks old and not that beautiful. The personnel is very relaxed, even after a number of my requests the room stayed dirty overall. Facilities of the room are broken sometimes, bathroom was OK, but L'Occitane cosmetics is fake, only bottles. Though smelled good. Good: Water from the tank is drinkable Breakfast is giid, tasty, good selectikn, but all the same evety day Receptionists arekind and helpful Looks romantic Internet is good Bad: Dirt The hotel reception stops working at 8, nobody tells you about it and yiu stay at a hotel entrance without understanding how to get in (with you room key and the sensor is on a tight wall quite far from the entrance) Personel is vety relaxed, no effort for service, act only on direct request A lot of stairs up and down before you get into room with your baggage Coffe from the coffemachine appeared to be paid O_o, no boiler for tea There is bath robe, but no bath slippers and you cannot ask it Broken skaf Door key frequently stops working

Summary: I do not know the price, if it us less then 30 usd, then fine to stay for a day...

My last day in Prague into a nightmare.

When making the reservation, I informed them that I would need a taxi at 6:30 AM at checkout. They responded that they would prepare a takeaway breakfast box. However, the female staff member at check-in was unaware of this.

I reiterated the email content, and she promised to prepare breakfast. But at checkout, there was no one at the front desk, and no breakfast was prepared.

When I returned the card key, the exit door wouldn't open, and I was trapped inside.

When I called, the same female staff member claimed that she had explained the front desk would be closed until 7 AM, but there was no such explanation.

Moreover, they had promised to have breakfast ready at 6:30 AM, yet the front desk wasn't even open.

Additionally, during the reservation, they asked for the age and gender of my 3-year-old daughter, promising a surprise for her, but there was nothing. When I inquired with the same staff member, she said, "Making the bed was the surprise."

This implies that if you don't have a child with you, they don't even make the bed!

There was not a single apology from the female...

A trip with the wife to city of Prague post-wedding. We paid extra for Delux Plus room and we absolutely did not experience anything luxury. Well, the bed was massive and comfortable but the air con should be standard in a hotel charging £150 per night. ||Goods - |- English breakfast is good. |- Coffee machine in room was nice. |- Air con and comfortable bed were absolutely needed.|- in a lovely, safe, quiet up-market area||Bads - |- Furniture broken|- ‘city view’ is just a tiny window in the corner of the room you have to climb up to see out of. Not worth the extra money.|- room doesn’t look anything like the stock photos online|- halfway up a massive hill|- Some of the staff were rude|- Rooms were not cleaned (toilet, shower, bins, coffee cups, bed sheets, not hoovered). We had to call reception to have the room cleaned properly as only the towels were changed and we had already been there 3 days in 30 degree heat.||Overall, we paid more to get a bit more comfort for our trip and we just got everything that should be standard, and some things were even not real (cleaning the rooms, big windows,...
