I came here due to the good reviews but the standards must be pretty low around here. I asked for tap water and they said “tap water” back to me, then brought a glass bottle. The beef in the pho bo was overcooked and not sliced correctly. Portions of meat and noodles were on the lighter side and it didn’t even come with the standard fresh herbs. When I asked about it the waitress angrily said “in Vietnam yes here no.” Gurl, this is the only Vietnamese restaurant in the world that I’ve been to where no herbs are served alongside the soup. The flavor of the broth was pretty on point though, so they can clearly do better if they felt like it. Read moreI just finished my Udon crispy chicken meal with veggie spring role as a starter. Together with a refreshing Lemon grass drink I have nothing to complain although the chopsticks are a challenge for me, but I managed it for the most part (only needed a spoon for the final few bites). The restaurant is relatively small and staff is friendly... I only missed a bit of music, but perhaps that makes you focus more on enjoying the food. I had a chicken iron plate which was delicious, it had all the right spices and my boyfriend got the chicken pad tai.
