Station Anděl — Restaurant in Prague

I have been there twice and the first time was amazing, the nachos had melted cheese on all their chips from start to finish, the hot dogs were very good and the poutines were delicious, we were surprised. However, today I went again with my family and we were completely disappointed, the nachos had little cheese and they arrived without the dip, we waited more than 30 minutes for them to bring us only the French fries that we had ordered to eat with the hot dogs, 15 minutes later the waitress came back with only the hot dog for the kids and our hot dog never arrived, we waited almost an hour there from the time we sat down and unfortunately my cousin had to eat alone, we decided to pay for what we consumed and leave and when we were leaving we found the waitresses and our plates but we did not want to eat there anymore, the waitresses were nice but on the occasions that they approached us they did not notice to tell us that they were delayed in the kitchen, for us to know that we had to wait patiently in the end they told us that they had 40 people and that is why they were delayed and offered the food to take out. Their waiters are friendly but they should tell diners if they are late and also make sure to bring all the food together. Maybe I will come back again and I hope they can identify the mistakes from the beginning. Out of 3 positions in the order 2 were not what we order. We wanted cheese corn dog and a hotdog with pineapple relish. I was fine with an ordinary corn dog that we were given, not a big deal, could have been a language barrier issue. But we got the wrong hotdog. The one we got was with avocado and a different sausage. Spoiler alert, my girlfriend hates avocado. When I told the waiter that the hotdog is not what we have ordered, since there is no pineapple in it, he just brought us 2 slices of pineapple!!! This is unheard of.

I live nearby and I have been going there from time to time since it opened. I love the place with a nice job done on the interior design, the kitchens open to the entrance, the very nice terrace on the courtyard. The food is really excellent: I love the hot dogs and poutines and the fries and sauces are great. The menu took a turn recently with the appearance of burgers which are among the best you can eat in Prague. All with a Pilsner, it makes an ideal comforting meal.
