SUN.DAY Terrace - Georgian Kitchen — Restaurant in Prague

We, as a couple, went there specifically on Friday because of live music. First of all there was no live music.. We had a reservation and they gave us a table for four. We asked for jug of water next to our drinks as every other table had and they told us they don't have jugs anymore they can give us bottled water. We were fine with it, but after that table next to us was getting exactly what they said to us they dont have it. It is fine to pay more for bottled water but don't lie to us :) 30 minutes after they asked us to move because they forgot they have another reservation for 4 people so we need to get another table. Not comfortable moment. Water and one coctail arrived but mine drink never. I had to ask for it again. Appetizer "Pchali mix" they said we will get 4 eggplants the same like in Badridjani, and we got three. Then food was coming in weird order, appetizer after main dish, partner got food and mine arrived later with side dish fries... The funniest part is they got his order wrong, he ordered "Škmeruli", he got "Čachokbili" He was really looking forward to it. Pretty much that and live music was reason to come here, and we didnt get none of it. We were expecting some mess with order because waitress never write it down. Then they recommend me a dessert "Napoleon" and then 10minutes later saying they don't have it anymore. Food was not bad, we liked it. But spending there over 2.000czk we were expecting more of it and better organisation. Arrived home very disapointed. Not recommend it, since it is overrated. first of all their staff! very attentive, they pay attention to the smallest details, extremely polite and welcoming, know what you want to ask before you even think about it 🙌🏻

and the food? like.. wow?? their “ostri” is really good! waitress recommended to try it with georgian bread (which was a bit too salty to my taste tho), and it was a great combination! also definitely recommend to try their khinkali with lamb! but be careful: portion sizes are huge actually! we didnt order too many dishes, but couldn’t finish it all anyway and had to pack it to go :)

their signature cocktails are very.. special.. or i would rather say specific.. it was a totally new taste to us, never had it before, didnt expect to get this, and was absolutely satisfied with what we’ve got!! unic for sure (“Berlin” and “Van Gogh..”), so dont miss out on this one!

it was thursday evening, so i didn’t expect anything special and it was such a surprise to hear live music! i thought they play it only on fridays, but turns out not only 🥰 it created some romantic atmosphere and made our experience...

The place is cozy and staff is very nice and polite. The food menu looked also good, but when we tried to order poke it wasn't available. Since we were hungry we decided to order ham and cheese platter. The products were supposed to be farmers, so we were really surprised when we were served with platter of low-end quality Czech cheese and salami you can buy in every supermarket with addition of 5 TUC biscuits. We notified the staff about our concern and they told us they are aware about the problem, but they can do nothing about it since it was the decision of the management. They offered us as a compensation the glass of white wine which we gladly accepted. The price of the platter was 390 which was totally unacceptable for what was it. You cannot charge the same price you would charge for finest farmers products for the ham and cheese bought at the next corner grocery shop. It's simply a scam.
