At the time we arrived most tables in the restaurant were taken, but definately not crowded. In contrary to most of the opinions I wouldn’t call this place atmospheric, looks like an average tavern. The toilets are downstairs, their smell and cleanliness (or rather lack of) isn’t too appealing. At that moment I still had big hope to eat a good meal. The menu is quite short (which isn’t necessarily a drawback), it contains traditional dishes which you expect visiting such place. Unfortunately only two of them are vegetarian (still not bad). Prices are not low, as for Prague, but acceptable. My first big disappointment was, that after the waitress took our orders we were waiting for over 40 minutes to receive the food, in my opinion it was way too long time, considering what we received. The dishes were very simple, minimalistic even, they didn’t look too encouraging, yet quite tasty, still not something which I would expect to be prepared for such a long time. Portions weren’t big, so I left the restaurant unsatisfied. General experience was rather...
Read moreShame! We travel all over the world, but I have never experienced this before. It's a shame that we had to experience this at our neighbors' on our first visit to Prague. I'm still in shock because I'm used to the fact that Czechs are nice and pleasant people. We walked in, where 6 of our friends were already sitting. My husband pulled a chair from another table for me so that we wouldn't be crowded on one bench. The waitress came and arrogantly growled at us that this wasn't done and pulled my husband's chair away. Then another one came and wouldn't let us sit down because we would be in the way. The pub was completely empty! We were the only ones there at one table. She argued with us, then asked us what we wanted to drink. We said that we had had enough and that we would write them a review. She laughed at us and said: Sure, you know only this, write a review. What kind of behavior is this? If it was full and we were in the way, then OK. And it could be said quite normally. I am...
Read moreDnes sme chceli navstivit restauraciu u dvoch sluncu. Podotykam, do dveri urcite nekopol, nakolko isiel posledny a boli otvorene!!!! Prvy moment po vstupe kdekolvek je asi najdolezitejsi a ked vam ho niekto do minuty pokazi, tak tym zabil celu dobru emociu s ktorou sme do podniku vstupovali. Pani casnicke odporucam skolenie zamerane na komunikacny styl a v pripade jej zjavneho vyhorenia, radsej nech ide pracovat do archivu, aby nemusela prichadzat do kontaktu so ziadnymi zakaznikmi!!!!! A nerobila zle meno a hanbu podniku ako takemu. Jedlo ani teda napoje sme nemali moznost ochutnat, mohli sme si dnes dat drink a zajtra obed/ veceru.
