Cecconi’s Copenhagen — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Very poor service, the waiters were standing in a corner making out (!)… instead of attending us. The waitress was clumsy and poured us almost full wine glasses to rush us to order another bottle. My wine glass was chipped. No towels in the bathroom and the soap was empty. Food was so so, my mother ordered the aubergine which was so hard it was difficult to chew… the pizza was burnt in the edges. Kids were given pens and paper to draw on, which was appreciated. We had lunch at Cecconi after a canal boat tour today. 250 per head, two course set menu. We had a seafood and a meat set. I mean, it's not bad for the price, but the portion is quite tiny! Service on a slow side. We are ok with the quality of food, except for my chicken. Come-on, you don't call this a main dish, only a piece of chicken breast? At least give me some potatoes or veggie at the side, like my wife's trout. It will cost the restaurant almost nothing.

Honestly this was so disappointing. One of the worst meals we have had in Copenhagen. The servers were lovely but the pasta was undercooked, the chicken was supposed to be a breast but was a fatty piece of thigh (when we asked the waitress about it she said she would check then ignored us and avoided eye contact all day).
