There were pieces of cleaning equipment (small plastic hairs) in my soft ice. This indicates a problem with you approach of how to clean the equipment. Please change this.

Edit: your answer is rather puzzling. The problem had nothing to do with the waffle baker. The pieces of plastic were in the ice. You are insinuating that this did not happen. Why?

I did not talk to your staff. Your staff can investigate the issue by simply using the information from this review. Things like this are yours to handle. Why would it be my trouble to interact with you to fix your business, especially since the conversation would be a stressful one?

Before looking at this place we googled top rated nearby waffles, and this popped up. Spent like 15-20 mins reading the hundreds of reviews which were either very good or horrible. Being optimistic, we took a chance ... Don't...even... Bother. Got there and there were some plates with sad little pieces of waffles sitting there, waiting to be served. We distinctly said, we would like a WARM chocolate waffle with some soft serve ice cream.we got a lukewarm piece of 'sad' waffle and ice cream on it... No chocolate on it though. It tasted raw and had batter taste ! In such a tourist location, they should be doing better even if their prices are extortionate at kr45. I would say, don't take the chance on it....

A super place to get an ice-cream in the charming and popular Nyhavn. It is difficult to get better.

The whole area has atmosphere and what better place to sit outside and enjoy a homemade waffle cone with good ice-cream and watch the world literally go by?

I have been to places with more luxurious ice-creams as well as a larger choice but, the ice-cream is non-the-less good and with a huge amount of choice it just gets confusing, right 😊

For the tourists amongst us, I suggest trying a typical Danish ice-cream. Ask for a 'Gammel daws' with all the toppings and trimmings - and I mean all. It is a must!
