I’d highly recommend staying on foot in Copenhagen, unless you get a great tour guide for the canal tours. I took a canal tour in February and was quite disappointed with the tour our guide gave us. I didn’t catch her name, but she seemed quite bored, uninterested, cold, bothered, and genuinely not excited to share her city with us. She maybe listed only one interesting fact that perked our ears up during the 1 hour tour- she just didn’t know how to engage her clients! Instead of telling us who designed each building we pass, maybe tell us what the buildings are used for or what their functions were in the past few centuries. Although the boat was covered and we were able to open windows to gaze out, I felt that the canal tour didn’t do the city enough justice. You are much better off doing walking tours that explore the city more in depth and which likely have more engaging...

The other company was running coverage ships. Overall we were fairly disappointed with the operations but seeing the city from the canals is a wonderful experience and you ought to try it maybe just for the...

Really impressed with Copenhagen from the water and it was an entirely new perspective. Definitely try this and if you can, do it early on a Sunday morning for ultra chilled ambience and less...
