From the moment we stepped inside, we could feel the heart and soul poured into this place. The owners don’t just run a wine bar—they create an experience, sharing their love for great food, exceptional wine, and true hospitality. Their dedication is felt in every glass poured, every plate served, and every warm conversation.

The wine selection was outstanding—starting with a crisp Lombard Extra Brut Champagne, a beautifully balanced Seven Falls Chardonnay, and the deep, structured Vacqueyras, which paired perfectly with the dishes.

And the food? A masterpiece of flavors. The Mont d’Or was pure indulgence, creamy and rich. The Foie Gras de la Mer was delicate and luxurious, while the Tarte Flambée with Mushrooms and Chèvre Chaud offered the perfect balance of comfort and refinement. The Antipasti brought a variety of textures and tastes, and the duck liver Mousse—wow! Absolutely delicious. Smooth, flavorful, and the perfect start to the meal.

To finish, the French Truffle Chocolates and Pecan Caramel Brownie were the ultimate indulgence—a sweet ending to a flawless evening.

But beyond the exquisite wine and food, what truly makes Chums special is the passion behind it all. The owners’ warmth and attention to detail create an atmosphere that is both elegant and inviting. You don’t just enjoy a meal here—you feel welcomed, appreciated, and part of something special.

I really liked this Tapas wine bar and Bistro. The atmosphere and service were great and the food was very enjoyable.

Of the 3 Tapas items I really liked the Serrano and Fennel Salami but did not personally love the Cecina so would try the 4 Tapas option in the future. The Bread and Olives that came with the 3 Tapas were perfect.

The Smoked Faroe Islands Salmon with the horseradish really pleasantly surprised. I'm not often a huge fan of smoked salmon but really enjoyed the flavours they brought together in this dish.

Finally there were a lot of wine options and the waiter was very helpful in selecting a sweater wine, 2023...

Chums en danois ça veut dire amis comme « Friends » pour ceux qui ont aimé la super série avec Jennifer Aniston. Il est vrai que l’ambiance y est chaleureuse, j’y suis venue en famille, et je me suis dit que le lieu se prêtait parfaitement à une sortie entre potes ou en amoureux. D’ailleurs c’est ce que veut dire Chums en fait « entre potes », et sincèrement j’ai trouvé le cadre simple et vraiment sympathique. De toute évidence mon ressenti ne venait pas seulement de la déco, mais aussi de la musique, car, en effet , ils passent de la super musique chez Chums, pour ceux qui ont un penchant pour Bowie, Velvet, de l’underground devenu mythique…ou pour du rock éclectique ( car certes vous entendrez de bons vieux classiques chez Chums, Doors, The Clash ou encore Amy Winehouse, mais pas que, alors quoi ? Ben poussez la porte et tendez l’oreille ! ) Mais il y a autre chose qui crée cette bonne ambiance chez Chums, sans doute le bon vin qui est servi par le gérant n’y est pas pour rien, car on tombe là sur un excellent connaisseur ! J’ai compris qu’il baignait dans le vin et la gastronomie depuis sa plus tendre enfance, de part une famille certes danoise, mais aux origines Italiennes, ayant d’ailleurs longtemps vécu en France. De là, sans doute, vient sa capacité à nous conseiller sur les meilleurs mariages de vins, de fromages, et sur les jambons crus. ( Ils servent aussi un délicieux saumon fumé 😋) A ce tableau, qui ne risque pas de fausses notes, il a ajouté une petite touche suisse en servant une fondue à tomber. Ma fille est fan ! De la bonne musique, des mets simples et savoureux, et un gérant fort sympathique, il n’en faut pas plus pour faire de Chums un endroit qui mérite le détour entre chums bien sûr ou en amoureux 😉 Je reviendrai à Copenhague et...
