Title: Decent Cheesecake, But Lengthy Service Experience
I recently visited Desserthuset, a dessert store, and while I thoroughly enjoyed their cheesecake, I have mixed feelings about the overall experience. The cheesecake itself was quite good, with a rich and creamy texture that left a delightful taste in my mouth.
However, I must mention that the service at Desserthuset was disappointingly slow. Waiting for an extended period can be frustrating, especially when you're eager to enjoy your dessert. The delay in receiving prompt assistance affected my overall satisfaction with the visit.
While the quality of the cheesecake warrants praise, it is important for Desserthuset to address the issue of lengthy service. Customers should not have to endure excessively long wait times, as it can dampen the enjoyment of their experience and detract from the overall impression of the establishment.
I believe that if Desserthuset can improve their efficiency in serving customers, it would greatly enhance the overall dining experience. It's essential for a dessert store to provide both delicious treats and a satisfactory level of service to ensure customers have a positive experience from start to finish.
In conclusion, the cheesecake at Desserthuset was undeniably enjoyable, but the lengthy service time was a downside. I would recommend this place to dessert lovers who have some extra time to spare, as long as they are prepared for a potentially slower...
Read moreI have known Desserthuset since 2017, but today is the day they lost me as a loyal customer. I came specifically to eat cake, and I saw that they only have one piece left of Red Velvet. I ask the girl how old the cake is, she says it’s probably from yesterday. And then I ask her if it is older, I would rather choose another thing, if she is unsure of how old it is. She then says that she made it and it’s from yesterday. I trust her and I order it. She then brings me half a piece ( she cuts the old piece, because I could tell it was bigger!) and of course, the cake is like 3-4 days old; it was dry and crumbly. My boyfriend ordered Tiramisu cake and it was good, but I trusted the girl’s word saying that the cake was only from yesterday, when it clearly was not. So am I going to go back to a place that deceives customers and charges 65 kr for half a piece of dry cake? Absolutely not.
Edit: good that you’re admitting that your cakes are not fresh. If so, don’t charge full price on them; and don’t cut half of the piece to serve it to the customer. Even better solution: use TooGoodToGo!! A solution for the customer out there: don’t come to this cafe, because they clearly serve old cakes and are not feeling...
Read moreI'm not a huge fan of cheesecake but I decided to give this one (lime cheesecake) a try. It wasn't my favorite to be honest, but I guess people would like it (not sure, but in my country cheesecakes have a softer, smoother texture so this must have some to do with this). I asked for a smoothie too, one that had pinneaple, kiwi and banana. They didn't have kiwi but offered to make one with pinneaple and banana and I accepted, it was awesome!!! not a smoothie person, but I truly liked it. I think I would return to try one of the other desserts that I couldn't try bc it was kinda late (21, too late for a huge chocolate bomb!!)
about the price, it's something yo expect in cph I guess. not extremely expensive, but more than what you'd pay in...
