My boyfriend and I went to the restaurant, that looks very nice and cozy, great decoration and atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing and great, we had the Hanzo experience along with three different cocktails (not the cocktail menu) Unfortunately we had to leave in a rush and weirdly we spent quite a bit of time just trying to catch the attention of the waitress (that has been very nice and attentive the hole time) understandably since the restaurant was quite full and there was only one waitress that was also making drinks and another girl that seemed just to be making drinks. I had to stand up and approach the girl who was making drinks because we really needed to leave and we just wanted to take the food and the desserts we couldn’t eat for takeout. She told me to wait and then came to the table and asked us what dishes we wanted to be packed, my boyfriend just let her know we were in a rush and showed her the dishes we wanted, but she had a very bad attitude, she seemed unhappy and annoyed by us, we both noticed it since it was very obvious. When she left we waited a couple more minutes but as it was taking some time I decided to go and pay. This time I talked to the waitress that has been serving us this hole time, let her know we had to run to another place. Overall, we waited around 25-30 minutes between being able to get someone's attention (for which I had to approach one of the girls), order the take-out, pay and finally the girl with the take-out never showed up and sadly we had to leave with no food. On our way out we told the waitress that we were leaving without the packed food because it was taking too long, to which the girl replied that it was a shame, but I would have appreciated very much if she had made an effort and hastened the situation to that we could go out with the take out.
I think the restaurant is beautiful, the food is magnificent, but the attention could be improved in several aspects since it is slow and on the part of a specific person, rude. After paying 965kr for a lunch of which we couldn't finish and we saw very little interest in helping the customer from the waitresses at the end, I would definitely go back for the food, but I would think it twice due to the service we...
Read moreNot a great experience. Nice welcome.
We were advised to take the tasting menu, accompanied by two cocktails. I'd like to start by pointing out that in a tasting menu, theoretically if you would like to give a good experience, should present the dishes that are brought and that has not always happened (not to mention about the unpleasant grimace made by the waiter when he was asked, in a kindly way, to explain in English instead of Danish). The cuisine is slightly spicy, so the delicate but good cocktail flavor fades away. It would have been nice to explain the combinations to balance that spiciness, which honestly It's seems to have wrong doses. The quality is not bad. The service at times unpleasant and we noticed that while they were cleaning the tables of others, ours was the only one that was not taken into account, moreover they forgot many times the cutlery for the next servering. Let's talk about the tasting menu. We had 8 small portions in Total , (appetizer, first course and dessert), a reduced quantity because it was a tasting menu. After this experience we're still hungry If you take the single pieces (for the courses that were served) you spend slightly more (around 50 kr) but with standard portions. So basically, the tasting menù...
Read moreOverall an ok experience, great location, the place was nice, a bit noisy. The food was ok, but not too interesting, and the service was just alright with great room for improvement, but nice waiters. We were 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children), we ordered 3 "Hanzo Expereince" menu (10 sharable servings), 1 children menu and 2 "Winemenu" (bubble, white, red). The first wine (bubble) arrive at the second servicing, and the white wine was served almost together with the red wine at the last two food servings. Little information about the wine, we have not been introduced to the wine, when we asked we have been given answers as "fresh and fruity sauvignon" or "a nice red matching the serving" referring to the Hanzo curry. It could be a bit more accurate or precise. We all liked the pork dim sum, it was beautiful with an amazing dashi, we liked the asian wings and the crispy shrimp bao was nice as well as the tartar. The other servings were less interesting. I would not recommend to order the "hanzo experience" neither the "wine menu", but I would definitely recommend the dim sum, the baos and the asian wings, and probably I would go for a beer that I feel could better...
