I've been around the block when it comes to eating burgers, since they are my favorite food I am always curious about the differences from state to state, to country to country. Genuinely every single place where I go to I make it one of my goals to eat a burger there and figure out where the best burger is.
As soon as we arrived to Denmark I started googling burger places and Gasoline Grill kept popping out, so we thought why not? Well let me tell you, this is, without exaggerating, the best burger I've had in my 27 years of life.
Every single ingredient was as fresh as they could be, from the buns, to the patties, to the sauces that were used. I personally have never been to a place where you could see the dedicated room where they make the patties, and well they have that here. During our time there one of the employees went into the room, got himself all the proper equipment, and began grinding the fresh meat and preparing the patties for the remainder of the night.
The style of this specific location is like a burger bar, where you can see them making your burger every step of the way, getting the fresh bun out of the container, seasoning the patty with salt and pepper, getting the vegetables etc.
The only, and I mean ONLY thing that this place does not have, is a hot sauce that is actually spicy. In my case I asked for any type of sauce they may have to try with my delicious burger, and they provided me with what I believe is their Nashville sauce for their chicken sandwich. The sauce was great too, but on a scale of 1-10 it was probably a 5 in a spicyness meter.
Absolutely amazing burgers that were worth every penny, genuinely can't wait till I have a chance to go back in the...
Read moreOK, this review is NOT for the burgers as I don't eat red meat. I ordered a chicken sandwich and chicken nuggets and that's what this review is based on. The chicken was very heavily breaded and possibly deep fried and the nuggets were crunchy and also appeared to be deep fried, which was not to my taste. The toppings did not add much flavor. At a place with "Grill" in the title, I expected the meat to be grilled. There was more coating than chicken in the nuggets, it seemed. Also, the atmosphere was uncomfortable as there were too few seats and some individuals were each claiming two-person tables and chatting and sharing food next to each other at adjacent tables when they could have easily shared a two-person table. They glared at me when I chose to take one of the empty seats at one of their tables. A few extra chairs and tables might solve...
Read moreBest Cheeseburger of my life, 10/10, no chance of improving anything at all.
Cool experience to basically sit in the kitchen watching such masterpiece of a burger expertly created by the lovely staff, two sweet women one of which at some point made her own burger like probably every day since 2 years because of course there's nothing in the world that would be better food!
Good fries but doesn't really matter anymore with that burger.
Note: fresh produce sells out so not a late dinner place (not cosy anyway).
Unbelievable value for money.
I went Wed May 15th for a late lunch. It was so good I went again at the airport for dinner. That one was only 5/10 so staff really matters (I think there they forgot the salt/pepper and almost no sauce, it wasn't grilled to perfection but a little...
