Hart — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

The cardamom croissant is nearly life changing! I've been trying to chase this laminated pastry high ever since I've been back from Copenhagen to no avail.

This amazing taste of heaven is a mix of monkey bread, croissant, and kouign-amann with just the right amount of cardamom (the real stuff, not the overpowering powder you get at cheaper coffee shops).

The staff is extremely patient, friendly, and probably thought we were a bunch of gluttons as our group of 4 kept ordering items, eating then outside, and coming back in to order more in order to try as many things as possible.

There are a handful of wonderful bakeries in Copenhagen and any Hart...

I had some of the most wonderful baked goods here and I've been in Paris! Hart is such a great representation of danish pastry and bread. Great guy at the cashier who kindly explained to us all of the sortiments and paid special attention to us as well. Can recommend their specialty, the cardamom bun, but the other ones are also lovely. Can improve on the store furnishing, I'd give it a five star when proper tables are equipped...

A few options but all really great so far.

I tried the cardamom croissant and it was amazing. Light, airy and perfect from start to finish. The cardamom wasn't overly strong but more a subtle flavour in the croissant dough.

I also got myself an orange juice (OJ) to go. They also make hot chocolate but it wasn't raining or cold enough for it. Maybe I can try it another time.
