Ma Poule — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Fantastic place! Wonderful people!! We tried mixed dishes with different dishes to try including duck heart, quail leg and some toast and small steak. Beer was also very good. The highlight was that I forgot my backpack beneath the counter top with everything in it (my passport, camera and etc.). I only realized after finishing Ismageriet ice-cream place at København at 8.30 pm which means both the restaurant and the market was closed already. I rush back to the Torvehallerne market only to find the friendly staff who still hang out after work kindly kept it for me already. One of the fantastic staff went to open the shop and retrieved my backpack. What’s a relief!! As I was heading back home the next day. It would be disaster if I loose the backpack and my passport!! Thanks...

BIG NO GO! Worst service! Complete arrogant taking our order! We kindly asked what the dish of the day was, and was rudely replied it was some greens with two kinds of meat, not specified... We end up ordering two of their duck confit sandwiches with extra meat called Obelix, a salad Basque and rose and beer. Patiently waiting for a table to free up, as we are about to sit down Ma Poule entire outdoor table falls over with food and drinks. No help was offered from the staff, they were like why can't you eat the food, and we said its on the dirty floor covered in liquid. We then reorder and they make us pay for the food! We did not get the Obelix, but the regular which for our taste are too plain. Not worth the money,...

Went there for a snack before my flight back home and had an underwhelming and unpleasent experience. I sat at the counter and the cashier informed me that i should get in line and pay first. I did. I said that i was gonna eat in and asked if could seat at the counter. The cashier insisted that i get the sandwich at the back with his colleague. Another colleague asked the cashier what i was drinking, the cashier responded orangina and they both laughed. The entire exchange left me uncomfortable. Got the sandwich with the guy who prepared it (who was nice!) and i ended up seating elsewhere. The confit duck sandwich was average at best, but the atmosphere at the market on saturday...
