Quite a few disappointing experiences here: we all ordered starters, main courses and desserts. As an side dish to the main courses we ordered 3 Caesar salads and none of us liked it at all (wilted non fresh salad, strange non typical Caesar taste dressing and too little dressing) - we left it barely touched / eaten. We told them it wasn’t good (all 4 of us at the table agreed). We ordered dessert and coffee. When we got the bill nothing was discounted or offered to us. Me being a hospitality management graduate from EHL (one of the world best universities for business & hospitality management) spoke to the manager and asked if he didn’t want to offer the salads to us or at least take off a coffee as a gesture. He replied in a very rude way saying that liking the salad is a question of taste and all of the rest of his clients who had it did not complain. And he wouldn’t take it off the bill since “it was produced” / ordered. We were quite surprised and disappointed by this management / dealing with our situation basically telling us he didn’t care about what we said and also when my dad mentioned something reg it would reflect in the review again he said he didn’t care and we should go ahead. WOW - in my 10+ years and the hospitality industry have not experienced something like that. This restaurant is definitely a fact that by the bad manager who still has a lot to learn… We had also ordered truffle fries, received regular fries. We ordered 2 glasses of white wine, but were charged on the bill for 3. And my mother as well as myself (we each ate and drank completely different things) left with some type of allergy on and weird tension in our face - no idea what happened there..). The music was terrible. On a positive note, the other rather new waiter, he said he was Argentinian originally, was kind and...
Read moreReservation at 20pm, 7 of June. The food was decent, tasty enough, but nothing particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
Firstly, the red wine sauce, which we specifically requested to be served on the side, was not, requiring the dish to be sent back. Secondly, we were charged 30kr (€4.50) per person for tap water without any prior notice, which felt misleading.
Most frustratingly, after being asked if we’d like a break between our main course and dessert, and agreeing, we returned to find that our table had been cleared completely, including our plates, cutlery, drinks, and the (expensive) water. When we mentioned we were ready for dessert (which was included in the package we ordered), the staff seemed surprised. We were then left to finish our meal without any drinks or proper place settings.
Finally, when we went to pay, we saw that the waiting mistakenly had included at 600kr (85€) bottle of wine to our table, and we had to point it and go through the bill. Of course it was a mistake but shouldn’t happen at an expensive place like this.
Honestly, but when you 450kr per person (€60), you would at the very least expect a basic level of communication and professionalism. Sadly, this experience fell far...

We had booked a table for 9 people to celebrate my son’s graduation – a day we had looked forward to for a long time. The food was fine, but the service ruined the experience. The waiter seemed stressed, unfriendly, and showed no understanding that we were celebrating a special occasion. No smile, no “congratulations” – just irritation and indifference.
It was a sad feeling to leave the restaurant after spending 4,500 DKK on what should have been a joyful and memorable day.
Additionally, you have to pay extra for both bread and water, and the portion sizes vary significantly – the meat dishes are noticeably larger than the fish dishes, and if you choose something like green beans as a side, you might only get 8–10 pieces. It feels stingy and inflexible.
Unfortunately, it’s all too common in Denmark to experience restaurant staff who don’t smile or show any sense of hospitality. Some do – and that deserves recognition. But far too many forget how much of a difference it makes. A smile and a bit of kindness cost nothing but mean a great deal to the guest – especially on special occasions.
I won’t be returning and sadly cannot...
