Durante il mio viaggio a Copenaghen, ho scoperto per caso Opera Park, vicino alla splendida Opera House. È un’oasi verde nel cuore della città, dove puoi passeggiare tra giardini ispirati a diverse parti del mondo: uno spazio rilassante, curatissimo, ma mai freddo o “perfetto” in modo artificiale.

Ci sono sentieri che si intrecciano tra piante, piccoli laghetti e aree dove sedersi semplicemente a guardare il cielo o leggere un libro. Al centro c’è una serra con un caffè davvero accogliente, perfetto per una pausa dopo la visita.

Una cosa che mi ha colpito è stata la presenza, quasi nascosta ma inconfondibile, di un simbolo di Christiania, il quartiere anarchico di Copenaghen. Dall’acqua si può vedere nettamente che sul muro rosso si stagliano tre lampadari tondi gialli, ricordando la bandiera del famoso quartiere. Mi ha fatto sorridere vedere quel tocco “ribelle” in un parco così ordinato. Pare che abbia fatto discutere: c’è chi lo considera fuori luogo, chi un omaggio alla storia alternativa della città. A me è sembrato un bel messaggio di inclusione.

In breve: Opera Park è molto più di un semplice parco. È un luogo dove si incontrano natura, architettura e un pizzico di spirito libero danese. Consigliatissimo per una pausa...

We visited the Opera Park in the weekend. It is an amazing place, with the most beautiful integration of parking spaces I have ever seen. There is a café and an actual restaurant. We had a lemonade in the café but the service was rather bad as they took more than 18 minutes to serve the beer, cause they thought we had been served. The café 4/5 cause of nice quality and reasonable prices....
