A French-inspired restaurant on the grounds of the now defunct Noma could be a very expensive affair, and yet it isn’t. No idea how, the prices are well below Copenhagen average (and really oddly formulated, just check the menu). We were a party of six, and ate much. Staters range around 50 kr and are very decently sized. So we took two per person. The entrecôte were well cooked despite asking for three different cooking times. The desserts are huge. The drinks are reasonably cheap. Of course nothing to write home about (maybe the enormous butter slab on the entrecote is newsworthy), but one leaves with a full stomach and the odd feeling of having underpaid, which it’s such an anomaly in Denmark that I’m still wrapping my head around it. Good for groups, service has an attitude.

Situated on the harbour front, this is a perfect place to enjoy a classic French bistro meal. The escargot bourgaignon brought memories from my childhood. The fish was moist and succulent. The French tatar with fritters was neat and tasty, even though I personally would have liked a bit more fresh tarragon in it. Nice wine list with something for everyone. Both in price and flavour. Shout out to the staff, who were there at our every whim. Fantastic service! We will definitely be back!

I was very surprised by this place! The food is good, the prices are very fair and the service is fast and polite. I had creamy mussels soup (they would benefit from less salt and more mussels), baked fish and creme brule. We made a reservation for 5 people and they put us at an amazing table overlooking the harbor. I recommend this place and will be back again with friends.

The food was great, the blond waiter was super nice, helpful and communicative. Tho the woman that was seating us was rude and obnoxious. We had a reservation for a table and were waiting in the hallway to be seated. The woman responsible for seating guests pushed past us to get to the computer instead of saying “excuse me.” We didn’t realize we were standing too close and we had no bad intentions, but instead of politely excusing herself, she brushed past us and asked if she could get by, with clear irritation in her voice. She then led us to a smaller table, only to realize that there were more of us, which we had already told her. She rolled her eyes, went back to the computer, and reassigned us to another table. When she finally seated us, I said “thank you very much,” to which she simply replied, “bye.” Her attitude made the experience way worse and made us feel not welcomed. She should work on her face expression cause the eye roll was below...
