Pizza Huset on Borgergade is a good spot for when you want something straightforward and filling.

The pizza itself is exactly what you would expect from a local pizza place — tasty enough to enjoy without trying to be something more than it is.

What made the visit better was the team working there, who were genuinely friendly and welcoming. That personal warmth makes the experience stand out more than the food itself. The fact that it stays open until late also makes it a reliable choice when most other options have closed.

You don't come here for the service, you come for the go-to pizza. The inside area (don't be fooled by the size of the building) is tiny, not options for sitting down, and when it's busy the space is very much just to wait for your pizza to be served up.

The dough is thin and crispy, with a good amount of char and a generous helping of toppings. Prices range between 60-80 DKK for a 36cm pizza, and are served to you in a cardboard 'eco friendly' to-go box.

Awesome pizza in the vibrant Kongens Nytorv. This place is just awesome! They are one of the few places open till late so the perfect spot to get a great pizza after a jazz gig 😜 not really easy to find as it’s nested between other places and it can go unnoticed if you don’t pay attention; but once you’ve found it, I am sure you’ll stick to it forever! The owners are Italian and they make Italian pizzas. Being vegan, we asked for a veganised pizza and they were more than happy to tailor special ones for us, loading the pizza base with lots of veggies - our all times favourite is with fresh tomatoes and aubergines.
