The let down here was the service. The food was nice and the home made bread for the durum was soft and didn't dry out. But service is huge and I think it could have been better!
The man made the durums in between serving customers. I was waiting for him to make ours and to ask what sauce we wanted etc but it was done in between customers so I didn't know it was happening. That is fine, but we didn't get to choose our sauce. When I asked him if he had put sauce on, he got quickly defensive that he had put it on and 'if he asked every customer what sauce they wanted...well he couldn't be bothered doing that.'
Firstly, that's poor customer service because making the food to our liking is infact your job, there was no one behind us at the time we walked in, so it wasn't super busy AND he asked us if we wanted sauce with the chips...but that sauce is paid for, so I suppose he can take the time to ask that...what is the difference?! AND my friend is dairy intolerant, so him just adding the creme fraiche dressing was NOT what she would have picked, but we took it anyway as we felt we were being told off and had done the wrong thing...
I've never experienced a place that DOESN'T take the time to make the food how I want it, including asking what sauce I want.
Otherwise, the falafel was cooked fresh, the bread was nice. The chips were ok. Not too bad.
Taking a bit more time to serve the customer and not get defensive and make them feel like they are being told off would make all the...

I ordered the kebab plate and finish it off to the last bite. The salad ingredients stood out as fresh and crisp and played their role of palette cleanser well. The hummus was silky smooth. The fries were bright as only fries can be when made in the cleanest of oil, which has been regularly changed. The meat was suffused in spices, giving off all the desired aromatics and it was wonderfully tender.
It should be mentioned that they have a tendency to put a bit too much sauce/dressing on the plate, but I attribute this entirely to the proclivities of Nordic and European eaters preference for bland dishes, so often smothered in butter laden and flavor neutral sauces, not to mention their being incapable of ingesting anything close to hot or spicy food. Thus, if you prefer to taste the nuances of the seasoning, simply ask for them to go light on the dressing.
Photos are always useful in a review, but we had just walked sixteen miles over the course of the day and I was too famished to consider snapping any plate pics.
The restaurant is well placed if you are considering take away, locating you within six minutes or less walking distance from the King’s Garden, the banks of Nyhavn or the benches in Kongens...
Read moreThe chicken dürüm was absolutely delicious! 🌯✨️
You can order beef, chicken or mixed. The salad was very fresh and delicious. And the wrap was absolutely soft and fresh. I highly recommend you to go! 10/10! ❤️🔥
It would be better if they put a little more meat in the wrap. The price was quite lower than other dürüm places, maybe that's why the meat portion was a little low. Small chicken dürüm was 55 Kron, big 65 Kron.
But for this price, this is really great!✨️
📢 Not : The döner restaurants in Copenhagen use spices such as cinnamon, vinegar and carnation in the beef döner, which is an unusual taste in 🇩🇪Germany and 🇹🇷Turkey, but I think it is done this way because the locals here demand it.
That's why the beef wrap has a little cinnamon and carnation flavor, the chicken does not. Don't forget to take this into...
