The Drunken Flamingo — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Disappointing venue. Empty and absolutely horrendous music. The bouncer was checking IDs and didn't let my friends in. But, two hours later, we tried again and got in. They basically force you to check your coat. Our friend wanted to have her coat to keep warm as only the terrace was open, but then the manager came and harrassed her. Honestly, it was unprofessional to be singled out and berated by one of their employees for something so simple. The house rules should be relaxed as it creates a very unpleasant environment. No one in the group wanted to spend money after they saw how she was treated. At the end, we went to pick up our jackets only to be interrogated by the manager about whose jacket was ours. Definitely would not recommend. The other employees were understanding but the manager was something else. He followed us through the bar to make sure we checked our jackets. That is not how it should be. Obviously the guy was paranoid or had some issues with trusting customers to pay. It immediately left a bad taste and destroyed the rest of the evening. So trust the other reviews and go spend their hard earned cash elsewhere as this place is rotten to the core. Clearly the management has no idea how to run a bar and needs to...

For the first time in my life this happened to me: we were 2 couples going to have a drink at this place and security man denied us entrance because one of us had visible tattoos in her hand!! In a country like denmark where everybody is inked - the doctor to the police - this seems like a joke!!! Just wondering the real reason because we didn't buy this tattoo excuse, and dress code do want apply at all - we all were appropriately dressed up!!they don't care, neither, will not touch that floor & will make sure i'm sharing this eppisode!!_Best luck for this place & keep your criteria of the clean skin & maybe at some point you will have the "clean" (&empty) space you want!!! They are advertising a silent disco party every Thursday at 8, but I went there yesterday and at 8:15 they were still setting up the place. There was just my friends and another couple so we left and returned after an hour when there was only us there. I feel that they are wasting resources with opening at 8 if they know that nobody shows up lol The terrace is nice, but to get to the terrace one has to walk through the club and let me tell you, IT STINKS. I've never been here to party, but I imagine I couldn't breathe if I were to party inside the club. Even though the club has a good location, and the terrace is decent, overall this wasn't a good experience and I wouldn't return...
