Venner — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

We celebrated our wedding dinner/party in March there and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience! We rented the place for a dinner party wedding for 40 people. We organized everything from abroad and relied entirely on mails, whatsapp and 1 video call to see the place and ask questions — the communication with Camille & David was super smooth. Both were flexible, accommodating, and made the whole planning process feel easy despite the distance. On the night itself, everything was perfect honestly. The venue was very cozy, charming, centrally located and we loved that we could bring our own decorations to make it feel personal and festive. The diner staff was fun and engaging — they were good entertainers during the dinner (special thanks to Thor, Camille and the lady colleague (i can't remember her name) ). The 3-course meal was absolutely delicious (we picked the chicken menu and vegetarian menu + some extra)— we loved it and it was way above our expectation (the kitchen did a great job). After the dinner, as agreed when renting the place, we played music (you can play loud music) and danced the night away right there in the venue, which made our wedding perfect. Price-wise, we found Venner very fair compared to other options in Copenhagen — excellent value for the quality of service and food. Venner is an absolute gem for brunch or lunch in Copenhagen! Booking online was super easy, and the experience only got better from there. The staff were exceptional—so friendly and welcoming, and they explained their unique menu perfectly in English.

Although the food took a little while to arrive, it was 100% worth the wait. Everything was homemade and of exceptional quality. I loved how the dishes were served together, with the staff explaining each item—a really thoughtful touch.

The standout for me was the homemade bacon—it felt like a dish from a 5-star restaurant, more like a luxurious pork cut than your usual bacon. The sausage was also excellent, and the pancakes were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. And let’s not forget the coffee—it was wonderful and paired perfectly with the meal.

If you’re in Copenhagen, I can’t recommend Venner enough. A fantastic brunch spot that’s well...

This is a hidden treasure in Copenhagen ✨. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, and the hollandaise sauce blew me away—it was the absolutely the best I’ve ever tasted, even better than the Waldorf in New York where the dish was invented. 👌

Beyond that, the fries might just be the best in Denmark—crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned. The flavors were simple and perfect.

Their iced coffee is strong and real, just how espresso lovers like it ☕️. Don’t expect something sweetened, but if you like bold coffee, you won’t be disappointed.
