Cocks & Cows SP34 — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

PROBABLY THE WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD IN COPENHAGEN (AND THAT SAYS A LOT)

Hadn't eaten at any Cocks and Cows venues for a year and wanted to to try give a shot again this 4th October 2025 and see if they had step up their game in any ways. This was a giant mistake on my part.

While I'm at work, around 18:20, I decide I want to order online take away. The food (burger + salad) I want was on their online show case menu, but not on the takeaway menu.

I then decide to call them around 18:35. I call for 15:30min. Nobody picks up in any way.

I decide to go (while I'm on the clock mind you) to the venue at around 19:05. I enter and ask if they have a phone, the waitress informs me it is not working. Surprise.

I then proceed to place my order for takeaway and tell the waitress that I will come back at exactly 20:00 so I would like the food to be ready there.

I come back at 19:50 (because I knew they probably would not make the food to 20:00 exact, because most (chain) restaurants usually never cares to make an effort on that part). I inform my arrival/pick up, and take a seat and wait. It's now 20:00 and my food comes. I think to myself "Wow, they actually did care/make an effort. However, as I exit the venue and rush back to my work, I notice the ordering bill/receipt says "Time 7:30pm". That means that the food/burger had been ready for over 30mins - which certainly also was confirmed by biting into it; luke warm over done meat with small salad on the side. Leaving my wallet with a dent of 277kr in total.

Needless to say, I will never try to test my luck again with the awful chain with their mediocre overpriced food and their horrible...

I had a Mega Governator with chilli fries. I also had a strawberry milkshake.

The fries were crispy and fresh, although they weren't spicy at all. The burger was quite nice; very greasy, but the flavours worked well together and the bun was nice. The milkshake did not disappoint; it had a very pronounced strawberry taste, and you could tell they used actual ice cream. No short cuts here.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and cozy, with soft music playing throughout and soft lighting. Service was very friendly.

Overall, I am impressed with this place. This isn't a corner shop, or a burger joint, it is a burger RESTAURANT. And while that makes everything more expensive than average, I would say that, every once in a while, no one should hesitate to splurge here. I recommend it if you're in the...

This burger joint can be tricky to enter. Watch out for the big beam, if you are somewhat tall. If you don't get knocked out, then be prepared for a nice and above average burger and beer experience. The burgers are interesting, different and do actually taste good, and different guest burgers sometimes makes this place worth coming back for the curiosity. They have some special beers, that are really good, and the staff are fresh and helpful. The French fries weren't good. They were crispy but had a strange taste, that some would like - but not me.
