It’s a popular Cevicheria in a relatively low key neighborhood in Quito.
The FOOD IS AVERAGE, QUITE UNREMARKABLE for a popular place.
The menu is largely cold cooked ceviches and several entrees… nothing that catches attention nor look enticing/inviting.
👍 The House Chips and Popcorn are good, especially the chips made from different varieties of native potatoes.
👎👎👎👎👎 Ceviche Mixto is HORRIBLY SOUR. … pouring of the pool of the sour goo makes it palatable with a load of the chips.
👍👍👍 Ceviche Camarón y Pescado is a direct contrast of the Mixto. The ceviche sauce has a light creamy flavor that balances out the citrus/vinegar picking sauce.
Both ceviches are loaded with seafood pieces.

This is a nusy seafood restaurant with good food, service was non existent almost. All waiters and servers were very nice and friendly, but very disorganized running all over the restaurant doing ???? I don't know. I asked for the menu when we got there, 4 times to different servers and no one gave as a menu. After being there for at least 15 minutes I demanded a menu. Same thing when the food arrived, I needed a napping, I asked 3 or 4 times and to different servers before I got one. Food was good but not great, we had ceviches, a cazuela and rice with clam sauce. Hemos pedido varios ceviches, tartar de atún rojo y unas ostras cultivadas 😱😱😱😱 loveeeee.
Como muchas ostras y es una lotería que sepan bien y estas estaban excelentes!!!!! Muchas veces saben a sal o incluso un poco a barro y me enfada porque me encantan y me mentalizo para luego decepcionarme...PUES AQUÍ ME HA SORPRENDIDO EL SABOR que dejan una vez acabas de comértelas. Recomiendo este plato para cualquier persona como yo que ande por el mundo probando ostras en busca de un sabor de mar 🌊 wow!
Los ceviches muy originales con toques un tanto diferentes a lo habitual. Me llamó especialmente la atención que el picante era muy agradable hasta para los que no les acaba de gustar ese sabor así que ceviches TOP!!!

El servicio me ha encantado, sobre todo Ángel que ha sido muy rápido, atento, simpático, nos ha contestado todas las preguntas hasta las de curiosidades históricas relacionadas con el ceviche y ha sido muy profesional. Enhorabuena al local por la formación para los camareros.
