I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant in Luxor, located on the banks of the Nile. The restaurant is situated on the upper floor of a building and can be accessed by stairs. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the owner and seated at a table on the terrace overlooking the Nile and East bank. The nighttime view was breathtaking, with the lights of the buildings on the other side of the river adding to the ambiance.

The owner introduced us to the day's menu, and we ordered the chicken curry with bananas, kefta in tomato sauce, chicken shawarma, and fish tagine. We were also offered either mint lemonade or strawberry-flavored water, as there was no wine available.

The dishes came with a salad and dressing, eggplant caviar, and three vegetable accompaniments, including an Egyptian-style ratatouille, a spinach-based preparation, and one made with white beans. Pita bread was also served. Sshawarma was accompanied by Egyptian-style rice and well-cooked potatoes. The flavors were incredible and authentically Oriental.

Towards the end of the meal, we were offered a traditional Egyptian dessert that was quite sweet, as well as several types of tea, including Egyptian, mint, and hibiscus. The bill was very reasonable, at around 10 euros per person.

This is a scam restaurant, please don’t go there. Two of us went to order. The menu had no prices. A male host received us and said it was 250EGP per person and 500EGP for two people. The food was very good and delicious! It's a pity that the food actually served is very poor and obviously does not match the price. They are not even willing to give you a bottle of mineral water. A bottle of water costs 25EGP. One of the meats includes one part of beef and one part of chicken. They both Packed in very small containers, there are only 4 small pieces of beef and 3 pieces of chicken in one container, and the rest are supplementary food! The real scam is that his home probably doesn’t have a kitchen, and they all ordered it from the takeaway restaurant next door. Please note that there is a takeaway restaurant next door. We found the same tableware and utensils as theirs, but we didn’t order them here. Floor found in any kitchen! Downstairs on the right side of their house is a shop that repairs motor ship engines for the entire route. When you eat, there is a strong smell that affects your meal! *Original review: We had the most AMAZING dinner here tonight! The owner is so kind and welcoming. He picked out a bounty of dishes for us to try and every one was spectacular. Even my 3 super picky boys loved several of the dishes, things they would have never tried before. I wish I knew the names of the dishes, but it was rice, meatballs in an amazing sauce, a chicken shwarma dish, a local type of squash with tomatoes, fried cauliflower (super yummy), a spinach curry type dish....and a few others.
