To start, I stayed in Luxor for 10 days - recommended this place by Mohamed the Manager of Villa Diletta. Every day for breakfast and dinner I would come here and I'll tell you why! The set egyptian breakfast includes egg, falafel, cheese, tomato, cucumber, bean spread and tea or coffee for only 50 pounds! Everything is fresh and tasty and quick. Huge portions I find it difficult to finish and I'm a big eater. Each night I would have the vegetarian set menu and each night he would strive to make a different meal for variety and taste. Huge portions again and comes with a little dessert snack at 75 pounds all together. They provide ice cold cups if you order water and have filtered water ice cubes so no need to worry about an upset stomach. There are also rooms available upstairs which you can enquire about on site under the name Villa Sunrise. Couldn't be better. Service is with a smile. Colourful and clean. It's only a small kitchen so if it's full the wait might be a while but that's quality over quantity! Thank you so much I can't wait to bring my mother in...
Read moreAWESOME! First of all, the food was great. The chef Hamdy makes sure you eat exactly what you want. Twice I asked for something that wasn’t on the menu and he made it without problem. The Egyptian breakfast was delicious, the stuffed pepper, cabbage, rice ... all of it. Thanks Hamdy. And second, the staff is just so precious. They always checked on us to see if everything was okay and went the extra mile. Today, our last day, Hussein and Hamdy (didi) took us on their felouque for a one and a half hour trip on the Nile to see the sunset. Those guys really work from their hearts and you can definitely feel it. They always had a smile on their faces. They took the time to talk with us and answer all our questions. I would definitely recommend going there 👍🏼 I would give them 6 starts if I could... Thanks for everything guys Until...
Read moreHonestly, I tried hard to like this place. I even came back to visit again after I found a fly in my food the first time. But I’m really struggling to understand its high rating.
The scrambled eggs, pancakes, and the toast with cheese were so bland, and the portions quite small for the price. The Egyptian breakfast was also nothing impressive. I also had a fly in my toast as mentioned before.
The service is friendly but not at all prompt.
I would skip this place if you’re looking for breakfast in Luxor. The nile view is nice but honestly...
