We arrived from Aswan on a long 6 hour drive, without having had lunch. As soon as we arrived at the hotel everyone was very friendly, they brought us water, coke, made us sit in the garden and brought us food. After finishing lunch we were told that everything was free and included food. The following day we booked the taxi with the same guy at the hotel to visit the various temples, for the sum of 50 euros, we accepted because we didn't have time to negotiate with another driver, since we only had one night and cause of the food offered. Things are a bit slow, for example they have no electric kettle in the kitchen to prepare the drinks, yet there is an electric kettle in every room ! I think some organisation in running the place is needed. They say there is a 24 hours reception but the truth is there is no reception at all and sometimes you might even find no one to talk to. Nasser who runs the booking has not been professional enough and we think it’s better if he focuses on supervising the workers rather than dealing with the customers. It’s just certainly not his thing at all. I would only recommend it and come again if things get more organised and if there is someone who can deal with the customers...

The staff is very friendly. Special thanks to Taha - a very active guy, gave a lot of useful information and tried to help...
