Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Geziret al Zamalik, Jazirat al Zamalik

A quick morning coffee and a bite before work or a snack in the middle of your day or even a chilled coffee break with a friend or coworker, this place is great for all of these. Their blends are really good and you can even buy ground beans for home use. Chicken Tandoori is wortha try and most of their desserts too. One male and one female restroom which can be annoying when the place is busy but luckily that doesn't happen too often. There's also a non-smoking section but it's a 'cute' attempt since about 80% of the shop is smoker friendly snd there is no real seperation between both sections. Prices are also fair and it's worth mentioning that this branch is quite superior to it's Mohandeseen and Dokki branches in terms of service and staff friendliness so if you happen to have visited either of those first, don't make a judgement till you visit this one...or the one in Dandy Mall which is also one of the...

Costa coffee is usually good for a reliable to-go coffee / quick coffee fix. So there isn't much to add for that. They own their own coffee label so it's standard across all branches locally and abroad. ☕️ This Costa branch is always full to the brim. It seems to be a meet up spot for locals here in this neighbourhood.

The atmosphere of the place isn't in my opinion suitable for work / study / reading because of how busy it usually gets, but rather is more suitable for quick meet ups / coffee fix for like an hour or so.

One of the negative points though, is that smoking and non smoking areas aren't spacially separated. Some tables are marked smoking next ones that aren't. Its mostly well ventillated so It is OK of you don't kind the...

Awful experience! Went in for an iced matcha. The drink tasted of ultra sweet coconut juice with particles of coconut in it. I asked why the matcha tasted like that, the female server was so rude in her response saying “that’s just how matcha is” while rolling her neck. I told her Matcha doesn’t contain pieces of coconut, and to watch how she speaks to me. Another server, who was respectful came over, and clarified that they don’t use matcha powder, they in fact use a coconut flavored matcha SYRUP.

Bottom line is, their servers have a terrible attitude and 0 training in customer service. Also, don’t order the matcha unless you want a fast track...
