Worst Place to be In!
They broke my Religious beliefs.
As a VEGAN we ordered the food and unbelievable there was CHICKEN BONE in it please find the images attached!
When we pointed this out to the staff, two men came and they took away the bone tried to break it so they could throw away but we insisted to take the images.
What kind of quality is this?
Never come to this place and this Thai restaurant!
WORST THING THEY COULD DO :
After offering us a pizza and pasta at their Italian Restaurant as a goodwill gesture the person dealing with us before came with a paper and asked us to sign it which mentioned
“The issue has now been resolved and now we will not take any action against Thai Restaurant, Steigenberger Hotel or the travel company we are traveling with. Also, we will not post on any social media platform or make any formal complaint against any of the above”, which we of-course refused to sign!
The manager kept on pushing us to let the issue go saying that he has already offered us food(which we never asked for) but offered by the hotel management as the damage control.
This is the height of shameless on part of The Steigenberger hotel management who evaluates somebody’s Religious beliefs just worth a Pizza and Pasta! 😡

As someone born and raised in Bangkok, we have a phrase, “Lang-Nua-Chop-Lang-Ya,” which means everyone has their own preferences. So, I’d say there’s no need to worry about whether this place serves “authentic” Thai food. As long as it provides a very good and enjoyable meal (especially in this environment), I think it’s one of the best options this city has to offer.
P.S. It would be even better if I could have a Cha-Yen. P.S.2 The sauce provided with the calamari is Mae Pranom’s sauce (which is best for fried poultry). I suggest asking for the seafood sauce instead—it pairs...

But we do feel disrespected by stuff. It looks like some of them (not all of them) treat Chinese or Asian people differently from others. One just shouted out options for us to choose when we ordered food, no explanation while serving food, but they were quite kind when taking order and serving food to white people.
I promise we were very gentle, quiet and polite in the restaurant and we speak English well. But that’s it. I understand 8 pm might be a bit busy, I don’t even expect stuff to smile at me, but please try not to be rude.
There was a candle on every table and was to be lighted once customers sat down. I found my table was the only one without the candle lit, as we stayed there for 1...
