The Mix Restaurant is in the hotel, after the entrance straight and to the left down the stairs. The atmosphere is calm and on the quiet side, but I recommend ro reserve a table - we were fine without, but I could see it get crowded on another day.
The lunch menu is at 20€ for a starter, main course, and dessert well priced and has a lot of creative and unique creations.
We had the "Ruby" and the Whiskey Sour cocktail with the Ciabatta bread that is included in the lunch menu. They are both highly recommendable.
As starters, we picked the veal tenderloin at Tuna Mayo and the di bufala. We were very impressed by the amount and the taste. We expected way smaller portions, and we were positively surprised. Starts also highly recommended.
We had with the main course a dry Riesling from the Anselmann winemaker. A good wine, just one small thing to complain about: From a restaurant offering this appearant standard, I would have expected the "tasting pour" when the wine bottle was already presented at the table. Doesn't change that the wine is great - anyway.
As main courses, we picked the beef tenderloin and the pike-perch. Both were great. My personal favorite was the tenderloin with the Korean BBQ sauce.
As dessert, we had the dubai chocolate bowl and the Strawberry Gazpacho with coconut ice cream. My preference was the dubai chocolate bowl, but again, both were AMAZING!

Because even if the restaurant is half empty they will tell you that they have bookings (which were in 2.5 hours as we found out later), make a huge fuss over getting you a table and giving you a lecture that you should have booked (we did over the hotel by the way - but it was lost). They scolded us and made us wait 15 mins even though two tables were empty and only then we got a seat. We had a drink at the bar meanwhile. We only didn't leave because our bags were upstairs and we ordered a taxi to the airport already. Even though the beginning was less than optimal and actually quite rude - they improved later and the service was friendly, fast and competent (luckily another waitress). Read moreI have been meaning to write this review for a long time, it has been one Month since our last visit but still the memory of the experience was so positive that I really wanted to do this. We visited twice, once for dinner and then we loved it so much that we went again for lunch. The food was amazing! So well thought out and beautifully presented. But I think the thing that really stands out was the service! Our waiter made our evening feel so special, so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the place and the concept. When we visited again for lunch two months later he remembered us! The lunch was amazing value and just as special experience. One of the steaks was chewy and not to the same standard as the rest but it was dealt with perfectly, a new one brought out very quickly (which was perfect) and a glass of wine because ‘nobody likes to wait’.
