Stayed there for the whole day, so I got lunch, drinks, coffee, dinner. Lunch was okay! Coffee and the lemonade were good. But dinner, the main dish (the 14 euro costing fish) was awfully bland. It would have been more fit to be a 3.50 euro festival lunch what is served to 400 people. It was so easy and childish dish that a 7 year old could have made it. I am sad for the money wasted, this is literally just cheating money out from people. The waitress did not speak Estonian at all, just looked at me dumbly like a deer in headlights until I started to speak in English with her. This is a cafe in Estonian capital city, Old Town, they should be able to speak Estonian language. Also when paying, their card-payment machine didn't work well and it took like 5 minutes to load the payment. Meanwhile the workers chatted their own things in loud Russian while I just had to stare the wall waiting for the payment to go through. When going to the bathroom, the lock on the bathroom door was broken. Absolute trainwreck of a place. It is 2 stars not 1, because lunch was OK and coffee and lemonade were good, have to give a little...
Read moreI recently dined at Rukkilill Cafe in Tallinn and had a delightful experience overall. The food was truly excellent, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors and beautiful presentation. Each dish was a testament to the chef's skill and creativity, making it a memorable culinary experience.
Our waiter, Robert, was exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations that enhanced our meal. His warm and professional service added a special touch to our dining experience.
The only downside was the waiting time, which was a bit longer than expected. Despite the delay, the quality of the food and the outstanding service from Robert made up for it. I would definitely recommend Rukkilill Cafe for its fantastic food and wonderful service, though be prepared for a leisurely pace.
Overall, Rukkilill Cafe is a great spot in Tallinn for a memorable meal, earning a solid 4 out of 5...
Read moreDONâT GO THERE!!! From where do I even start.. the service was terrible and its the least to say. The workers are maybe 18 years old with weak language skills and pretty rude attitude. Doesnât care about clients at all. And the so called manager was drunk.. We were eight people so we understood that it would take time, its also the main reason why we ordered hookah, but after 25-30 minutes they brought the plate for one person and only after that the hookah so we wanted to cancel it but the waiter told us NO! In restaurant its usually that you bring all the dishes at the same time, but here one person ate and others were waiting 40 (!!) more minutes. How do you make ribs in 30 minutes, but ceasarâs salad in more that 1 hour?! For location, prices and status ârestaurantâ it was something you wouldnât like to experience. Terrible, rude and made bad first impression about Tallin, its...
