Stand outside in -4 degree weather to get first dibs at the bar seating to eat + drink EVERYTHING.

The only restaurant I have been to in Helsinki where I have felt like we have gotten a world class guest experience.

From the wine choices to the cuts of meat to the balance of fat, acid, and salt, we were experiencing nirvana. The cheese plate is dope.

The service is kind and grounded in present humble and detailed honesty. Just wonderful!

I must discuss all these Finn’s who have not given this place a perfect 5 star review: CHILL OUT. Seriously.

Your idiocy based on “prices” is ridiculous. These people are bringing the highest quality product while opening a small business during COVID while having to deal with all the new world responsibilities that go along with it.

For once, think about the context when you are making a reservation for this brilliant restaurant rather than your stuck up standards that have zero basis in reality.

The people who created this place have something no one else offers in Helsinki. And thank...

Now everything just hits the mark, something new, a lot of traditional flavours and tasty, service, atmosphere, price, location, soul. All there!

We went from Japan influence to French bistros, to a middle finger Med/Portuguese tavern. Fun! Not for everyone but for the ones who've seen everything. Will be a long time stable with the amount of soul the guys poured in. Drink or at least try everything offered, widen your palate.

Highlights: miso infused carpaccio with a dash of yuzu, mirin oysters and not to forget all of the meat dishes.

Low points very minor: fish main course is more driven by fancy ingredients than prep level. So very few points to improve at this crucial start.

Break a leg guys! Have fun with open mind if you managed to get a reservation! Few seat with no reservation at the bar.

If you love anything about Japanese food/culture, this is not Japanese, it's Finnish playing with the flavors, but you'll find this...

A truly fantastic dinner experience here tonight, easily the best meal we’ve had in all our travels through the Baltic states and Helsinki so far. The many dishes we tried were all fresh, wonderful and surprisingly original - so eclectic and interesting that the style is challenging to describe, but a delight to discover. The pacing was perfect, the vibe elegant yet remarkably friendly. Chef Samu came out multiple times to explain the dishes & his unconventional culinary approach. But the highlight of the evening was our delightful server Anastasia: endlessly knowledgeable, charming, witty, warm, and by the end of the night almost like a long lost a friend. Thank you for giving us such a special experience. Helsinki is richer because of a...

Right now this is the hottest new restaurant in Helsinki, and for good reason. The small, intimate setting ensures superb service and interesting conversations about food and ingredients with the chefs and owners. The food itself is a mix, not fusion, of classic French and Japanese dishes and ingredients. The menu is constantly evolving, and food is paired with special small plot wines and sakes. A lot of thought and care has gone into everything they serve. Overall, throughout the experience you sense a real excitement and passion for food without the stuffy pretentiousness you might expect from fine dining.
