Such an amazing hideaway! Tucked away on the lower ground floor level of City Center Forum Mall (Kaivopiho), just off of the main thoroughfare via Mannerheimintie it’s a very beautifully situated restaurant that has an impressive rotating buffet selection during the week and weekends from 12:00-15:00 everyday. The buffet includes freshly baked naan with an assortment of hot and cold beverages, along with a delicious entrees and salad fixings. A quiet brunch experience if early in the afternoon on weekends though busiest with the general workweek like many other great buffet restaurants in the vicinity too. An exceptional menu and the best that really covers anyone if they have a hankering for outstanding Nepalese (Indian) cuisine and entrees. Highly recommended for those visiting Helsinki and looking for a sumptuous meal to enjoy while in the city center!

Chose the place due to its easily approachable location and the generally good vibes we got upon entering the restaurant. We were the only ones there, besides one other customer. The service was also fast. The food was bland for our Indian taste. We had tried the chicken thali.

But soon all went downhill. The other customer started eating loudly. Then he began a business Zoom call on loudspeaker. Our patience bore no fruit as the loudness continued. Our request, through the waiter, to decrease the volume or use an earphone was inconsequential, as it all continued.

So we ate to a background sound of loud burps, a Zoom meeting, and inner seething anger.

We did receive a sorry—an apology—from the waiter, though.
