And that’s what I found here, the main touch was a Portuguese Douro red wine, expensive also due to the 25,5% VAT. But very good, although it could have been even better if served at the right temperature, the room temperature is too much for these red wines. The list is rather simple but very good with some rather interesting dishes. They also have three different 3-course menus between € 40-60 pp. I took a’la Carte and went for a creamy Lobster soup that was really tasty and rich and as a main for a rarity on menus fried beef tongue with polenta. Very well prepared and tender and the polenta and the added sauce worked well together. For the soup the Sancerre wine worked perfectly and for the tongue some Cabernet Sauvignon. Staff is super sweet and helpful, our server explained us what’s in each dish and where does it come from (as in, history of the dish). She brought some bread and tapenade for the table for free.
