So I visited Round last month while on vacation, and I didn’t really know what to expect.
I got a mozzarella-pesto bagel, which wasn’t bad but could have used more punch in terms of flavor.
I also tried a doughnut, which again wasn’t bad, but it didn’t taste very fresh, probably had been sitting in the display for a while.
I actually ordered the €11.99 combo, which includes a bagel, doughnut, and fresh juice.
When placing my order, I received my doughnut first, followed by the bagel a few minutes later. Eventually, after some time, I was given my juice, once the worker realized they had forgotten it.
There was another table nearby where something similar happened, a gentleman wasn’t given his tea right away because it had been forgotten.
Of course, mistakes happen, so it wasn’t a deal breaker, but it did feel like there was a lack of passion for the product at this location. Maybe it’s due to the stress of handling so many customers, it could be a lot to manage. I’m not sure if the workers get much of a break, but it also felt like there was a lack of attention to detail and urgency when preparing orders.
I didn’t hate my experience and would probably try it again, but I’m not in a rush to go back.

Read moreI used to be a frequent costumer but today is the last time I visit Round. Last week I also had a bad experience at Round store in Itis so, this one today is the final straw. Extremely slow and miserable looking employees, dirty and depressing space, spider webs hanging from the ceiling, sticky and dirty plates, hygiene is not taken seriously. Need I say more? As for the donuts, it's like a Russian roulette. Sometimes they are going to be good and sometimes they are going to be greasy and tasteless. In general, very unprofessional and always with an excuse for their countless mistakes. A while ago I bought a chocolate banana donut. It had a chocolate filling. A few days later I bought the same donut and it had caramel filling (do you remember the Russian roulette?). When I complained, the employee said that they had run out of chocolate filling. When you make any kind of change on your product, your customers should be aware of it. There may be allergies or personal taste. I was waiting for 5 mins, my eyes and the staffs met but they ignored me, didnt bother telling me to wait for few mins. Waiting was fine as long as they let me know. And yes they told me after I ask for ordering.
When I finally approached the counter to place my order, I noticed a staff member handling trash with their bare hands. This same staff member then proceeded to handle my order without washing their hands or using clean tongs. She tells me that she used the tong to pick the donut, not touch it directly so it’s fine. I was insisting about cross contamination and she had to wash her hand but still didn’t switch the new tong. Very disgusting.
