Xocolab — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

As a Belgian, I take pride in setting the highest of requirements when it comes to chocolat. In cities all around the world, I often have to settle for a mere 'ok-ish'. But not here at Xocolab!

The dark hot chocolate and the white hot chocolate witch matcha drinks were exactly what I had hoped for: rich and refined in flavour, smooth in texture and exactly the right temperature for comfortable drinking.

The pralines visually demonstrated their creators mastery of the craft. And the crème brûler praline was a new discovery for me! It was on point, both in taste and texture.

High quality chocolat artisan, very friendly owner. This is craftsmanship, with respect to the quality of ingredients and passion of work well done. Their bonbon chocolat's flavor are delicate to not overwhelm your senses and the taste explodes in the mouth, while its texture is crispy outside and melting inside.

Mexican style hot chocolate is a gourmandise, take the time to taste its richness and taste.

A wide selection of aesthetically pleasing chocolate delights starting from 8 euros. It would make a perfect heavenly gift.

The only downside is that there wasn’t a wide selection of vegan chocolates from the vitrine so I got a vegan bar of chocolate with berries.

The staff member was nice enough to put a nice ribbon on the chocolate bar as it was meant for a special one :) That’s what I call...
