What a gem! If you're looking for a satisfying meal with some great vibes and people-watching, you have found the right place. Our party of 2 was warmly greeted, and we sat out on the terrace and enjoyed a nice loungey lunch during the first days Festival d'Avignon. Started with an aperol spritz and a pastis, while we watched the theater folk come down the street, singing, busking, and hawking their wares. The snails with custy bread were great, and the octopus carpaccio was beautifully plated and a nice fresh starter. He had the pork (pluma de cochon), which was cooked just right, and I enjoyed the tartare - and of course, with another round of drinks. We finished w the chocolate lava cake and the tiramisu (with another round of drinks). The staff were wonderful and completely welcoming and accommodating for the foreign traveler. But there was still room for dessert, and the profiterole was...

The waitress did not apologize and instead she insisted it was because it was "organic" and asked the adjacent table to support her excuse. Restaurants are a business and should have standards. Those standards of cleanliness were not met at this place and they let a customer walk away dissatisfied and disgusted. The service was also very slow so we ended up cancelling our main dishes. In a very agitated way she said SHE would "pay(?)" for our cancelled dishes (that never even made it to the table) so we had to pay for the dirty salad. I will not come back to this restaurant nor will I...
