I'm so glad we made the effort to visit Le Riad.
Month long trip in France from Australia it was nice to experience wonderful, welcoming hospitable service and fantastic food to match. Lovely, attentive waiter... (I wish I asked his name).
The melting pot of flavors is definitely what we've been missing. We had the Royal couscous and the Chicken tagine with preserved lemon and olives. The couscous alone would've been plenty for the two of us, but we slowly got through most of our two dishes. We could only manage a lovely mint tea to finish.
I wish we had another day in Avignon to try some other dishes like the Kefta. A reason to come back to Avignon!

This place is simply overrated. Had there been less than one star, I would have been glad to...
