Wow! This wasn't even a promoted aspect of the Chamonix multi-Day ticket. No, we didn't come prepare to hike. We just came up for a couple of days to learn about this place, but the reality is you could spend a week here. A couple of weeks here a month here. We met someone who spent 3 months here and said they would easily spend 6 weeks here all the time. I can see why this particular lift brought you to some great views as well as some great hikes. It's part of the multi-day pass so I would suggest spend at least 3 days if not 4 days here and take advantage of this is one of your full days at the very least and then do one day at the main attraction and the second attraction and then a fourth day. Le Brévent is a fantastic destination for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts. The cable car takes visitors quickly to the summit, where they are rewarded with breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and the Chamonix Valley. The ticket machine I used (at the top) was asking for an E-Mail address during the checkout process. There was no information why this was necessary (it wasn't) nor was there a button to skip the question.

People standing behind you can read your email address as well, since the screen is mounted quite high and the font is large.

The only good thing about it: You can just enter a fake/random address. However most people seem to enter their real address without being informed who is keeping the information, how long and for which purpose.

Completely unacceptable and not compliant with the GDPR I think. I will see if this can be filed as a complaint...
