FOOD POISONING!!! 🤮🤢 Few more words are needed to describe the turmoil which ensued following what can only be described as the worst mistake of my life. They say a picture paints a thousand words, but alas I did not have time to capture a picture of the culprit in question before I was hurling myself at the toilet bowl! My stomach crying out in protest at the great insult I had inflicted upon it!
Therefore, a word picture. Out of the cold clammy bag wenced my kebab had been so lovelessly thrown I pulled out my luke warm dinner. I peel back the foil to reveal the horrors before me, much like peaking behind the curtain in a mortuary; dead, limp and cold it lay before me. The salad (by far the main ingredient and bizarrely despite its brown and tasteless complexion, the most tasteful ingredient) spilled lifeless and cold from beneath the pale skin of the wrap. I dig a little deeper, like a prospector looking for gold to find hidden deep in the jungle of salad leaves what at one point in history might have been affiliated with an animal.
Despite what was a joyless insult to my body and one with which I will never be able to repay, I was too hungry to stop myself making what I should have known would be a terrible and fateful choice.
I am sure Chamonix is a beautiful place but alas I will have to take your word for that, as I can only comment on the sights of...
Read moreI have absolutely no words for this shop, but for the sake of this review I am willing to think of more than a few. When I walked into this shop, my hopes were high for a good falafel shop in Chamonix. I was quickly mistaken. When I ordered my falafel, the man taking my order was barking questions at me, and getting annoyed when I was asking a question about which sauce came with the sandwich. He kept an angry and frustrated tone throughout our interaction. Then, halfway through my taking an order, he turned around and started frying some falafel. Keep in mind, that there was another guy in the store who was sitting on his phone, and the entire shop was empty except for us, and they were well within restaurant hours. I said “excuse me” three separate times, and this dude yelled at me “ ONE MINUTE”. What kind of service is this? But this was the last straw for me, because I walked OUTTA THERE. Additionally, their shop DID NOT HAVE HUMMUS. WHAT KIND OF BLASPHEMY IS OCURRING IN THE DEPTHS OF THIS SHOP TO EXCLUDE HUMMUS ENTIRELY FROM THEIR MENU. WHAT KIND OF A FALAFEL SHOP DOES NOT HAVE HUMMUS! I shall never forget this moment of absolute treachery and the disappointment I felt. My final advice to save this shop is to get better employees and add...

—- I went through many cities in Europe and visited many restaurants, but this restaurant is the worst in dealing with it, especially after the Turkish employee found out that I am Saudi. I showed decadence and insolence in my dealings and made you feel that you will take from him for free. My advice is not to buy from him because you have your money and not him. It is the only one that sells halal in Chamonix, in many restaurants, and it is cleaner and has better treatment (imagine traveling to go to someone who is trying to insult you).
