Cannelle — Restaurant in Grasse

Food was good for the price (hence 2 stars), but staff is purposely misleading foreign customers. Asked for water for the table, waiter brought it over and poured before I even noticed what he is pouring. When paying, they asked €6 for the bottle. I asked why is it €6 when we just asked for plain water and every other customer got it for free. Waitress (manager maybe) said „no, this (is) Evian”. We said we didn’t ask for Evian, we just asked for tap water, but suddenly she pretended she does not know English. Paid the €6 since we didn’t want to argue, but left very disappointed. I’ve been to this restaurant since it opened long time ago and it only got better each time. The owners are very friendly, on top of their work, and always welcoming you with a smile. The staff are friendly as well and hospitable. The food is amazing , fresh, and delicious. Sumon tartare, niçois salad, and flure de courgette just to name a few plates.
