Horrible Experience at San Telmo - Violent Staff Member** June 25/06/24

I am writing to express my outrage and disappointment with the service at San Telmo in Cannes. Today, I went to dine at your restaurant with my partner and our baby. Unfortunately, our evening was ruined by the shocking behavior of one of your waiters.

This waiter became violent, pushing the stroller where my baby was sitting and then attempting to punch me, which resulted in my shirt being torn. We left as quickly as we could and approached the police, but they told us that if we wanted to take any action, we would need to file a legal complaint. Being on vacation, we decided against it.

When I returned with the police, the waiter was still there as if nothing had happened. The manager's response was equally appalling, as he accused us of not paying for our drinks—a baseless and insulting claim.

This incident was incredibly distressing and unacceptable. I hope that appropriate measures will be taken to ensure this never happens again to any other patrons. Please ensure that this message reaches the owner, as I believe they need to be aware of...

My recent experience at San Telmo was incredibly disappointing and upsetting. Upon attempting to enter with my baby, I was shockingly denied entry by the staff, citing my child as the reason. This discriminatory policy left me feeling humiliated and excluded, especially as a paying customer seeking a pleasant dining experience.

Furthermore, the behavior of the waitstaff was appalling. Instead of addressing the situation with professionalism and courtesy, they were outright rude and even resorted to shouting at patrons. Their disrespectful demeanor not only tarnished the restaurant's reputation but also completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation meal.

As a customer who values inclusivity and respectful service, I would strongly advise against visiting San Telmo. Very overpriced for the quality and service. Better to find a different place (I echo other's comments about the service.) Only three red wine's by the glass and two were barely passable- this is France after all! Bottles are overpriced starting at over $50!

I ordered the broccoli and sausage pasta dish and it was awful- couldn't eat any of it- the sausage was terrible and the pasta was so thick it turned gummy when chewed and there was this strange broccoli flavored sauce but no actual broccoli.

They swapped the dish out (with a little hassle) for one of their signature pizzas. The pizza was overall fairly good. But the crust was soggy where the excess moisture from the mozzarella has soaked through the middle. Bland sauce and uninspired toppings rounded out the top.

Overall, I've had better pizza in many cities and won't return and would advise that you walk down the street to any of the countless restaurants...
