Emilie and the Cool Kids — Restaurant in Grasse

I usually don’t share negative reviews, but I know this place very well and unfortunately it has change into something that is very unpleasant. I came with my daughter, ordered a matcha (it was very dilated and not good) but in anyway I decided to stay. Tables were very dirty, but for me the worse part of this was the music. This is family friendly cafe, a lot of moms coming for coffee and friends to meet up. Liking Park, blink 182 or other heavy stuff is not right at all for this place. I asked the staff if they can change playlist and she replied non this is what we like, I said but clients are the ones who are paying and shouldn’t you consider our opinion? (My friend felt the same and table next to us as well) she replied sorry Madame is like this.

We came to this place because it was very good in the past, but not anymore, the 2 bartenders with brown hair & green hair were very rude saying that they were closing in 10 minutes while everyone else was sat down at the tables inside, all we wanted was a cappuccino and instead of making it they kept on insisting that they were closing in 10 minutes for 10 minutes and after 10 minutes they decided to make the cappuccino, we sat outside in 6°C weather even though there were some empty tables inside and they came outside and screamed at us saying that they're closing while there were still a lot of people inside; cappuccino was terrible as well, they used UHT lactel milk and terrible quality coffee, stay away from this place no...

Terrible experience, never going back… We walked into this café simply to check the options and politely asked about croissants — they only had chocolate ones, which we didn’t want. Since it was pouring rain, we waited for a few minutes before leaving. To our surprise, a blonde, heavy-set man with a shaved head (likely the owner) came after us in an extremely rude and aggressive manner, claiming it was ‘mandatory’ to order something just because we entered — which is absolutely NOT a consumer rule. We were publicly treated as if we had done something wrong. The place has zero hospitality and an arrogant attitude — and honestly, with this kind of service, I doubt the coffee is worth it.
