I went to Alfi’s for dinner, and let me start by saying: I’ll definitely be coming back.

To start, we had: • Burrata with asparagus – 8/10: Loved the combination. • Crudo de maigre – 10/10: Super fresh and flavorful. • Mortadella with pistachios – 7/10: A bit basic, but enjoyable. • Couteaux (razor clams) – 9/10: Absolutely delicious.

For the mains, I tried: • Bucatini cacio e pepe – 8/10: Not usually my favorite pasta, but this was perfectly al dente. If you’re a fan of this dish, you’d probably give it a 10/10. I’ll definitely try another pasta next time. • Viande du jour (chicken escalope) – 8/10: Very good, but I found the side of potatoes too oily for my taste.

For dessert: (I was too full to try everything and went for an amaretto instead, but here’s what my friends had): • Tiramisu – 8/10 (friend-rated) • Panna cotta – 8/10 (friend-rated) • Beignets – 9/10: Don’t remember the exact name, but they came out warm and were delicious.

We also had three bottles of white Italian wine, recommended by the waiter — great choices all around.

One of the highlights of the evening was meeting the owner and his father, who warmly greeted us.

Atmosphere-wise, the décor is charming, but it was quite warm that evening (27°C in Paris). I’d recommend sitting indoors to better enjoy the ambiance — hopefully they’ll have...

absolutely lovely, quaint experience. we came for a midweek early lunch and were the first table at 12:00.

we had wonderful service from margaret & her team.

we started with the frozen tomato burrata and fennel salad. both were fresh and tasty but the burrata was really innovative. i had never had burrata with this type of savour, earthy edge before.

for mains, the fish of the day (a butter poached cod with a type of puree - i forgot what vegetable.) and the meat of the day (veal meatballs with cheese and tomato sauce.)

meat and fish both melted in your mouth. but the white sauce of the fish truly blew me away.

additionally each plate comes with a choice of sides - we chose the mesclun salad and tomatoes/aubergine. again, both great, and the tomatoes just won the show.

truly it was a 10/10 experience with great food, wine, and ambiance. i will be back...

Happened to walk by this place and thought it looked great, so booked for dinner that evening. The decor & atmosphere is chic and cosy. Felt like I was in a Parisian apartment. The staff were really friendly and the cocktail offerings were great - could easily just go for one or two drinks. The menu was refined and small but was still difficult to choose, the ham and melon were simplistic yet the quality shone through. The burrata was incredible, fresh and light flavours and the cacio e pepe was cooked to perfection. We ordered the fish of the day which was great with a side of potatoes but for me personally, I didn’t enjoy the deep fried swirly potato element. This felt a bit trendy to me so I would pass on ordering them again. Tiramisu was Devine, wish I’d tried the others. All in all I would go here again and recommend to anyone looking to...

Overall amazing experience would definitely recommend. The service was amazing. The place is nice small and cozy. The dinner menu is very simple with only a couple options for food. We ordered a focaccia a lasagne and a cacio e Pepe pasta. The lasagna was very unique the layers are spread out on the plate with the meat and red sauce drizzled on top with a bit of Dijon to accompany it. The pasta was very good strong cheese and pepper taste. The focaccia wasn’t focaccia it was toasted bread. Prices are okay on the pricier side as you’re dining at more of an upscale restaurant compared to other places in Paris.
