Restaurant inside M.O. where I stayed for 3 nights.
TLDR; not bad but one of the worst value to price ratio restaurants I’ve probably ever been. Would be expected for a typical average brassiere-standard but this place is 3-4x the price.
Pros:
Practical if you’re a guest of MO to walk downstairs and have a decent meal
Servers are friendly and kind, very nice.
Cons:
Servers are nice but super undertrained. I’m sure this is like a training ground for the 2* Thierry Marx restaurant also on the hotel premise.
Then the senior staff graduate to the better restaurant so this one is constantly super weak sauce.
For example, all the dishes are brought mixed up so they give your dish to your friend, and proceed to mix everything else up.
No one refills your wine glass or water from your $200 bottle of wine.
It was almost like a bit of a running joke because at the end they mixed up all of our jackets too lol
Lunch menu and dinner menu, all the same menu. Limited options.
The entree with egg was like a total fail. Both of my guests said it taste kind of like eating a giant raw onion. Afterwards both reeked of onion hahah.

Read moreCame in for a dinner on a Saturday night. Before we sat down we told the kitchen staff that one of us is pescatarian and whether they can switch the veal in the tasting menu with a fish. He said yes. Once we sat down and wanted to order one regular tasting menu and one with fish, the chef sent a message with the waiter that both of us would have to get fish. We asked if we came in to the restaurant individually would they accommodate the pescatarian menu request for one of us? They said yes. So it didn’t make sense why they couldn’t make this simple change, especially given the reputation of this place. Anyways we ended up ordering a la carte. My husband got the veal and I got the mackerel. The fish and the veggies were very bland and lacked flavor. The presentation was beautiful, but the food was tasteless. He didn’t love his veal either. We got Paris Brest for dessert. It was good - 7/10.
