After two weeks of traveling from the US, I can confidently say that this restaurant provided the best food, wine, service, and ambiance I've experienced not just in France, but anywhere! From the moment I walked in, the warm and attentive service made me feel like a valued guest. The menu was extraordinary, featuring fresh, local ingredients crafted into the most delicious dishes I've had in years. Each course was paired perfectly with exquisite wines, elevating the experience even more. The ambiance was pure charm, intimate yet vibrant, and made the meal feel like a special occasion. Whether you're a foodie or just someone who enjoys great dining, this place is an absolute must-visit. I truly cannot recommend it enough! It's a culinary gem in the heart of Paris that I will be dreaming about long after my trip. Simply outstanding!

Interesting and mixed experience. Entered an empty restaurant. Was not happy with the first table. So they put us away in an isolated corner. After we requested we change again they said they couldn’t move but they manage to find another table. After that everything went really well. Good banter with the people working there and really nice food. Good wine list and reasonably priced. The place didn’t fill up whilst we were there so I’m not sure what the issue was with moving us to a better table. Nonetheless, very much enjoyed the food and dining experience. Not open on weekends. Good for them!

Perfect French Cuisine restaurant! The food was delicious, the wines (red wine was perfect price performance, the sweet wine was very tasty a little bit expensive) were quality, the owners were very interested in our experience to be a good one. This restaurant is definetely in my list to visit again. Squid and sea scallops were just for us, veal stew was very delicious. We also tried hare a la royale, a French classic dish, although not perfect match for Turkish culture, was a very interesting and unique experience. Duck liver was also very good. The desserts were also very good.

It was OK. Really.

But a small interaction/misunderstanding could have been avoided.

And my French isn't great, so somebody else might have had different interactions with the waiter in question.

While I ordered, a lunch "special" was mentioned to me (for a few euros more), for a total of 20 euros with dessert.

I hadn't seen the size of their portions so I chose to order "à la carte". I told the waiter that. He wasn't thrilled. But he let me.

I thought that I could decide later. And I did.

I ended up paying 11 euros for the same dessert everyone else got. They paid approx. 6 euros. And I paid 11.

And the problem is I only remembered him mentioning that on the bill, my dessert would have to appear under a different name, Vacherin. Without mentioning the price would go up.

I survived, obviously. And, yes, I'm writing it to vent.

But I wouldn't do that to other people and I just want you to know.

Later that winter, my French colleague, a smart, single, female individual, taught me a very useful expression.

"C'est...
