The food was very very average and not upto the mark in terms of the taste. This is definitely not an Indian restaurant serving tasteful food. Quantity is just insane too for the amount. Just to make you order more, the quantity of the curry is literally nothing and the breads are very small. They also tell you that the quantity is less and the size is small so that you would order more, a very cunning business attitude. The chapathi is no where near to a 'chapati'. High time the restaurant owner changes his/her chefs and the staff. If the owner was the one who had behaved like that to us, I think he/she should learn some respect and manners. And the customer service was rubbish, I think the staff should learn how to behave with their customers be it they order just a single piece of Naan or order the whole menu in the restaurant without any JUDGEMENT or if they want big orders only, they should allow customers to dine in only for above 50€ and rest only takeaway or something. It was absolutely annoying to see the staff react straight on face after taking the order just because we ordered only for 25€ or so. And just placing the food so hard with the don't care attitude on the table. I hope they could learn some hospitality being in the food industry. Absolutely disappointing to see such a restaurant in the heart of Paris.
Otherwise, located very much in the central and 15 walkable from the Eiffel tower apx. Right in front the metro station. Uber eats, deliveroo and Just eat are available in terms of...
Read moreWorst restaurant ever , i feel disrespected. I hope that useless and illiterate guy who took our order realises what he has done and what he has been doing. We were a family of 4 and 2 of us didn’t wanted to eat anything, so the other two ordered a chicken tandoori masala with naan and 2 beers. suddenly that freak starts acting rude saying that they cant accept 1 dish from a family of 4, so we were like okay what is this place. so we decided to order one veg starter but that waiter said no you have to order one more main course so we decided to order one dal makhani as well. Meanwhile he said he’ll confirm it with the manager if he can go ahead or no and he came back and started to write our order. We ordered 2 naans and he was like only 2 naans and bla bla bla so he was being arrogant. we didn’t like the way he was behaving at all and i said if its okay place the order if its not we’ll leave and he replied “NO ITS NOT OKAY” and we left. Seriously, this is something i’ve never seen. Going to an indian restaurant 30 mins away from our hotel being an indian and being treated this way. I wish i never found this restaurant on google as it ruined our mood completely and i regret not complaining this to his manager or...
Read moreWe went to the restaurant in person to place a delivery order back to our hotel on 28th Nov2015 at 8pm. There were about 6-people dining-in so place was quite for a Saturday night. Of the 2-staff we interacted with one was friendly and helpful but the other was curt and a little rude. We ordered 3x currys, veg-rice, bhaji's and a couple of naan breads. The cost was euro-42.50. I told the guys 4-times to send the food with disposable plates and spoons but when the order arrived these were missing. The food itself was fresh and tasty. a little on the spicy side for me but my family really enjoyed it. The portion sizes were good with the currys and rice being sent in two-thirds full A500-size microwave containors. In hindsight we ordered too much for 2_adults and an 8-year old child but the guys didn't advise us that this would be too much even though we asked about the quantity. The place is a 12-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. Would rate higher IF the guy who took order was not so defensive and a little more positive and customer oriented. Would also add a star if they had remembered to send the disposable plates and cutlery that I requested and they agreed when we...
