Where do i even begin to express my disappointment of the money I wasted here. $360 CAD per night for a maybe 180 sq foot room. The pictures are the biggest and most deceiving lie of any advertisement I have ever seen. They show a photo on their ad as if it the front of the hotel with the Eiffel tower in the background....it's the building across the street.
We were so excited to stay here based on the pictures and the moment we opened that door we were so disappointed. We had an amazing 11 days in Italy prior to this and walking in our room felt like it just wiped all of our prior joy away. Absolutely sickening they can charge what the charge for literally a shoe box. I've seen bigger walk in closets. You can't even open one suitcase without having to block the front door, we also had to store both of our suitcase's in front of the door, super safe incase of a fire. Booked a queen bed but they apparently only have twins in the whole hotel, so why give me the option of a queen? Our stand up shower had trouble draining, more of a stand up bathtub, better shower quick before the water goes over the edge. Pulled the comforter down, pulled the sheet down, ready to crawl into bed only to find just a mattress protector, no fitted sheet, $360/night and not even a fitted sheet, what a joke.
I have never had a hotel ask all guests to leave their access key at the front desk which honestly isn't a big deal except for the fact when you ask for your key back they do nothing to verify its you, they just hand you the key back.
The location sucked. The only positive was an 8-10 minute walk to the tower. Once we did the hop on hop off bus tour and saw the rest of the city we realized how awful of a location the hotel was in.
The staff weren't the friendliest. Only 1 of the 3 staff we met were actually pleasant. After 20 minutes I asked if I could cancel my stay and have a refund, unfortunately I could not.
The thermostat in the room does nothing, just basically a sauna of 2 adults sleeping in a twin bed.
I wish for nothing but the worse for this sham of a business. Legal robbery allowed by booking.com and other hotel robo advisors. Please go out of business and save others from wasting thousands on this poor excuse of a hotel. More like a...
Read moreWe've booked the hotel a while in advance and arrived on time. We had to wait for another hour until the room wasn't done, which was really not a big problem for us.
The reason why I rate this hotel with 4 stars is that the elevator was broken down. I went to many reviews that were stating that in this hotel is no elevator - but this is untrue (pictures attached). We were on the 3rd floor that only was available via very steep old staircase (over 50 stairs).
So here's my honest opinion: ⛔️➖ If you are a person that feels uncomfortable or physically not capable to climb very steep stairs (that REALLY get to you the first two days 😂) - do yourself a favor and look for a different hotel.
🏨. YES!!! the building is old and the rooms are tiny, but this is also normal in Paris. The location is PRIME ⭐️ the Metrostation "Dupleix" Line 6 is located directly in front of the door. You just walk cross the street.
💎 NO!!! There definitely are NO bed bugs, or any sort of bugs in the room. We've stayed here for 5 nights and to be honest - the beds are very comfortable. We slept very well. And there was NO odor or any sort of smells coming from the bathroom that by the way was pretty clean.
❤️ The ladies also at the front desk were very polite and nice to us.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I give it a 4 star rating because of the stairs, other than this I think for the price we were paying we had a pretty good experience. Considering how scared I was reading all the negative comments here.
Also it should be mentioned that we are talking about a 3 star and not a 5 star hotel. And it fulfilled the promise of a solid 3 star hotel.
I would recommend this hotel to young and "leg strong" people on a budget and with a bit of humor 🤭 because you're gonna find yourself huffing and puffing when you make it to the third floor. If you're ok with this, that place is really a good choice for your wallet...
Read moreThe hotel is only 10 minutes walking to the Eiffel Tower so has an excellent location with a very reasonable price. The rooms were very clean and the receptionist, Mehdi, is such an amazing guy ,very helpful. He also made the coffee in the morning. If I could ,I'll double the stars for this hotel and the service we received
‼️update about our second stay at this fantastic place ‼️ 2-3-4August 2020
The best stay in Paris ever!
Liked · The staff is amazing and if you need anything extra ,they will do the impossible to make you happy. The location of the hotel is perfect...40 feet away from the train station with connections to the most amazing places to visit in Paris. I think it was around 10 minutes to the Montparnasse Tower , i just love the views from there. Also ,you are so close to the Eiffel Tower ,5 minutes walking and my nieces were in love with the short walking to the Tower. Another plus point is offered to this hotel by the bistro ,on the corner ...the most amazing service and staff even here . There are so many clothing shops round there ,everything you want. Long story short: YOU WON'T REGRET YOUR STAY HERE. They have all the facilities , across the road there is a cashpoint in case you need it and as I mentioned above: the Eiffel Petit Louvre staff will do everything to make your stay fantastic. Forgetting the most important information: they have a closed underground parking that costs only €25/night . For us this kind of facility was very important and it did made a difference ..safety comes first ! Loved my stay there and wish that I could go more often . You will make friends there 💕
Disliked · There is nothing to complain about ! We had such a wonderful time here ,reason...
