Bel Canto — Restaurant in Paris

Do NOT miss this place - it's fantastic! The food was exceptional as was the entertainment.

I jad the perfect eggs appetizer which was delicious. For the entree, I had the "chateaubriand" and it was probably some of the best steak I've had in Paris. The vegetarian canneloni was great and the yellow poultry Supreme was incredible - the chicken was so good I wish we could have had more. (See pics of all).

As good as the food was, however, the entertainment was even better! The singers were very accomplished and sand segments from various French, German and Italian operas. The men and women who sang were also quite entertaining: funny and charismatic. The pianist was fantastic, too.

I highly recommend Bel Canto, Paris as a great place for a wonderful meal....

We were a bit reluctant to try this place out of fear that it was a tourist trap and that the food would be sub-par. I'm so glad we went ahead and made reservations anyway. It turned out to be an absolutely wonderful evening. The food and service were both fantastic. We were very, very impressed with our meals. The entertainment was outstanding, with an excellent pianist and four very talented singers. We had a great time and would not hesitate to go back again! Despite our reservation for 5 which we had made weeks before we found the restaurant closed at the reserved date: 23rd July 2023. We checked our voucher, the panel on the door and the internet: Bel Canto is open every day. No information about this closure. We rang the bell on the door many times. We tried to call their number. We left many messages on their box. We never received an answer. On the other hand they charged our credit card saying that the restaurant was open and that we had not showed.
